Boca Shores Gated Entry 1/2/3-month Deals Spring/Summer 2012 in St Pete Beach

Perfect location and excellent price

I rented this condo for a couple of weeks in July in order to have a quiet place to study for the Bar exam and was more than pleased with the experience. The condo itself was very clean and had plenty of room and all the essentials you could need (kitchen appliances, utensils, extra towels and sheets, etc). The laundry room is just a short walk away. The neighbors are all very quiet and friendly.

The location is PERFECT!!! Location was highly important to me because I knew I would not have a car while visiting (I did bring a bike).

First, it's waterfront. Boca Shores sits right on the intercoastal and has a brand new deck that was built prior to my arrival so it was beautiful to lay out on. Both the sun deck and the pool have numerous tables and chairs and umbrellas. It was never crowded and I always had plenty of space to myself. When you walk downstairs of the actual condo the intercoastal is right to your left and the pool is just a few more steps. You can see the intercoastal from the front door! There is a fishing deck as well if you enjoy fishing.

All within a mile is the beach, grocery store, numerous bars & restaurants, the post office and the public library. I did not need a car once while I was there and was able to get around perfectly on my bike. If you do need to go any further, the Sun Coast Trolley stops just outside the complex. I took this a few times in order to check out Pass-a-Grille Beach because it is ranked one of the top beach towns in the US. It was less than a 20 minute ride and was a great beach, I highly recommend it. Additionally, the Beach Theatre is also less than a mile and they have $5 movie showings and do live shows of the Rocky Horror Picture.

Finally, the owner, Jim is wonderful. He was one of the few owners that responded immediately to my inquiry. He uses a lease and is VERY flexible. His housekeeper Laura (incredibly nice) met me at check in to provide me with keys and she worked around the fact I was driving up from Gainesville. He had no problem with my sister and mother staying at the condo and even called the office to give their car information for parking. A few days before checkout I realized my flight didn't leave until 7pm and I would have nothing to do until then, and Jim allowed me to stay until 4:30pm. I mailed him the keys after my stay and received my deposit back within the week!

All in all this was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend renting from this owner.
