This 2000 sq ft waterfront home is a spacious and comfortable
gathering place for friends and family, or a private retreat. There
are three bedrooms, two with King beds, 1 with a Queen bed, plus a
family room that sleeps up to four on pull-out sofas. There is space
for adults and children to play, relax and enjoy the view. The
beachfront is at your doorstep, with tidepool exploring, shoreline
hikes, clamming and whale watching in season. Be on the lookout for
seals, herons, eagles, deer and other wildlife. You can put your boat
in the water from the nearby community boat launch or drop your kayak
in the water directly in front of the house.

There is a TV with DVD player and VCR (no cable, so you won't get any TV stations and no internet access unless you provide your own). Full kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, complete with pots and pans, dishes and lots of extras. Washer and dryer. Fireplace, Outdoor Grill, Ceiling fan. A video and book library is at your disposal. All linens included. At the house you will find two very basic bicycles, horseshoes, balls, golf clubs, kites, squirt guns and LOTS of fun stuff!

When you are ready to explore the island, you are less than 15 minutes
from dozens of spots of interest for the entire family. Here is a
partial list, but we'd be happy to help you with an itinerary to suit
your interests:
- 3 minute drive to Greenbank farm for wine tasting, farmer's markets
and craft fairs
- about 12 minutes to the unique shopping, dining and sightseeing in
Coupeville,
- 10 minutes to the Port Townsend ferry and to historic Fort Casey (a
family favorite of ours!)
- Freeland is a 12 minute drive for grocery shopping, a drug store,
restaurants, etc.
Plus, Meerkerk Gardens, South Whidbey State Park, Ebey Beach, hiking
trails, bike paths, golf courses... it's amazing how such a quiet spot
has so much to offer.

vacation rental rates

High Season: May-Labor Day weekend $230 per night for up to 6 adults, with a
minimum 3 night stay. Although the house is spacious enough for more
people, our septic system cannot handle greater volume than this, so
the maximum number of guests will be strictly enforced.
Low season: After Labor Day weekend-April $185 per night for up to 6 adults, with a
minimum 2 night stay.

There is a $75 non-refundable cleaning fee.
