Inlet Harbor Club Harbor Villas Sleeps 10 in Alexandria Bay

Inlet Harbor Club was founded in 1995 by Richard A. Merola. A
lifelong seasonal resident and local business owner, his passion for
the area and commitment to the marine lifestyle is evident in all his
endeavors. In 1986 Merola founded Aqua-mania, Inc. in Alexandria
Bay, a retail boat dealership and service center located on Route 12.
In 2006, Merola began phase I of his plan to embark on his unique
marine development concept,
Inlet Harbor Club. Unlike anything else in the Thousand Islands,
Inlet Harbor Club is a 10.46 acre site whose heart is a Victorian
Bathhouse/Clubhouse offering its members old world charm with modern
club-style amenities and services. There will be facilities for
dressing rooms, showers, lavatories, laundry, vending, a marine
store, banquet.lounge space complete with a two-sided fireplace,
covered porch, children's playground and barbeque patio. Members
will be provided with a unique social experience in a private club-
like setting.
A large heated rack storage building will provide in/out and/or
seasonal storage for its members. The building will have an exterior
decor with a more residential feel by including windows, shutters and
raised panels along with earth toned colors to help blend in with the
landscape.
Inlet Harbor Club will also include 30 unique homes known as the
Harbor Villas offering residents a year round destination for their
boat and selves. The boathouse design offers a 40' slip with living
quarters above. The developer selected architect and professor
Robert Charron, a native of Ogdensburg and lifelong boater in the
Thousand Islands to help him design and create a Victorian style
boathouse villa home that is energy star rated with low maintenance.
Excess slips will be sold to club members rather than compete with
the local marinas for seasonal and transient boaters. "We are trying
to create a larger seasonal residential population through our niche
boater owned marina club concept," says Mr. Merola.

Living room, kitchen, two plus bedrooms, dishwasher, washer,
dryer, large screen T.V., heating and central air,
barbeque, all dishes,pots and pans, silverware,towels, sheets,
blankets and bedspreads. The front deck is easily accessible from the
living room and provides a view of the Marina.
Plenty of parking for Boats and guest at the ajacent marina plus
trailer storage.
This is a non car community and resturants bars stores and the Golf
course are all in walking distance
