Travelers Palm Inn offers a cute vacation rental apartment in quaint

1930s Key West-style house -- a shuttered, white-clad building with a
tin roof, surrounded by Old Florida tropical gardens and patios. Just
a block and a half from the center of town, it is conveniently located
near restaurants and shops.

The apartment was completely renovated in 2006, but it still retains
the charm of its old town, Key West style. Architectural features
include hard wood floors and high ceilings. It is freshly painted,
newly furnished and decorated tastefully. The layout includes a large
living room with a sleeping area, bathroom, and new large eat-in
kitchen. Amenities also include central air, washer/dryer, TV, basic
cable.

Living in Lake Worth is fun. Here's the best part -- the beach is just
over the bridge -- only a short drive or a hike away. Lake Worth
offers a wide array of restaurants. For breakfast, coffeehouses,
Starbucks and LesBeans, and a French bakery, Bonne Bouche, are just
around the corner. For dinner, there are tons of choices: French
(L’anjou’s), eclectic (Bizarre Café), sports bars (Dave’s Last Resort
and Raw Bar), pizzerias, delis, Mexican, Fusion, Indian and Italian.
For shopping, there are antique stores, gift shops and art galleries.
The town is alive at night, too, with live music, theater and art
festivals. The Lake Worth Playhouse offers a popular playbill and
concerts. Stonzek Studio Theatre features independent/international
films. Late night jazz can be enjoyed at the Bamboo Room. Lake Worth’s
Friday Evenings on the Avenue offer fun for everyone, giving
out-of-town visitors the opportunity to meld into the local crowd.

On the beach, Lake Worth offers sunrise breakfast on the fishing pier,
or dining al fresco, just across the street. Visitors can swim laps or
exercise at Lake Worth’s beach-side Olympic-size swimming pool.
Golfers can play at the town's municipal course. Exercise enthusiasts
can rent a bicycle at one of Lake Worth’s bicycle shops or work out or
dance at the new Soma Café, which also offers health food fare.

Lake Worth is just minutes away from Palm Beach International Airport,
Palm Beach, CityPlace, Kravis Center of the Performing Arts, Roger
Dean Stadium, deep sea fishing and scuba diving.
