Vacation Rental Description

Located on a pristine stretch of nature-preserved land bordering  
both the Gulf of Mexico and the tranquil waters of Pensacola Bay,  
Portofino redefines "exclusive". Five elegant towers each separated  
by 300 feet of ecologically preserved land feature their own lobby,  
pool and hot tub, designer interiors, huge balconies for  
entertaining, and water views. Elegant columns, domed entryways,  
arched ceilings and Roman whirlpool baths only begin to describe  
Portofino's distinct Mediterranean feel. 
 
There are 5 lighted rubico tennis courts, all manner of watersports  
for exploring both shorelines, bicycle rentals, and scenic nature  
trails which wind their way out to breathtaking beaches.  
 
The resort will even have complimentary transportation for guests to  
the Tiger Point Golf & Country Club. A private tram shuttles guests  
around property (seasonal), and arrangements can be made for charter  
boat fishing, a dolphin cruise or whatever your heart desires. 
 
The 40,000 sq. ft. Lifestyle Center at Portofino will indulge you  
beyond your wildest dreams. Work out in the state-of-the-art fitness  
club overlooking the bay, take a fitness class, visit the juice bar,  
order up a massage, and unwind in the lovely atrium hot tub. When  
you're through, head for the indoor lap pool, or the outdoor  
paradise  
of tropical pools by the bay. Afterwards, there's no better place to  
end your day than at Portofino's intimate wine bar and candlelit  
Terra Cotta restaurant. 
 
Our unit is a professionally decorated 2 Bedroom 2.5 Bath unit in  
Tower 3 on floor 9 overlooking the beautiful waters of Santa Rosa  
Sound and Range Point.  The views are breathtaking from all rooms as  
well as the balcony. 
 
The 1,335 square foot unit will sleep 6 people comfortably with a  
king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a  
queen sofa bed in the living room.  The dining room will accomodate  
8  
people at the table and there are 3 barstools at the kitchen  
counter.  Ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room.  Master  
bedroom has jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. 
 
Designer kitchen with granite countertops, maple cabinets and all  
the kitchenware needed to make a gourmet meal. 
 
Large TV's are in both bedrooms and the living room plus each TV has  
a VCR/DVD combination unit. 
 
A full-sized washer and dryer, and iron and ironing board are in the  
unit. 
 
The unit has high-speed Internet access.
