Home on West Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City

Two story, 2,100 sq ft, home, is located in beautiful Leelanau
County on M22 (S. West Bay Shore Dr.) across the street from West
Grand Traverse Bay. Property has frontage on the Bay, with a deck
on the water side. The location is 5 miles north of Traverse City
and 10 miles south of Suttons Bay. There is a beautiful view of the
Bay from almost every room, with spectacular sunrises over the Bay.
There are 2 bedrooms available with a king size bed and a queen
size bed, a sleeper sofa (doulbe) in the living room and a day bed (single)
in the loft area. There is also a queen size blow up mattress available.
There are 2 full baths with ceramic floors in the baths, kitchen and hallway.
There is a living room with cathedral ceiling, TV/VCR and stereo. In the
loft (2nd floor) sitting room there is a TV/DVD.
The home is air conditioned and has a full kitchen; stove,
refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher with all the dishes and cooking
equipment, including toaster, coffee maker etc. There is a laundry
with washer and dryer. All bedding, linens and towels are provided.

Water front property is across the road. There is an ocean kayak and
float toys available to guests. The kayak functions both as a single
or double person kayak. 3 TVs, VCR, DVD, stereo, expanded cable and
wireless internet. Air conditioning, microwave, ice maker, washer and
dryer, charcoal grill, hammock, lounge chairs, deck at water, deck in
back yard. Hoist for boat is available (3,800 # maximum). Fire pit at water's
edge, with fire wood.
Absolutely no smoking in home.

The house is located in wine country, with many wineries in the
area. There are a number of golf courses and bike trails in the
area. There are also many charter fishing options in the area.
In the summer there are a number of festivals and events,
such as the Cherry Festival, Traverse City Film Festival, Suttons
Bay Jazz Festival, a number of Art Fairs and Interlochen Arts
Academy. There are two Casinos in the area. Shopping and tourist
spots, such as Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan beaches, are
abundant. In the winter there is downhill and cross country
skiing. In the fall there are amazing colors, with many scenic
routes.

Note: If not rented 20 days prior to dates you want, contact for
stays less than a week. Two night minimum.
Weekly rental begin on Saturday at 3:00 pm, and ends the following Saturday at
10:00 am
A $500 refundable damage/reservation deposit is required for all
weekly reservations. Deposit is fully refunded if cancelled before
30 days of reservation. If cancelled within 29 to 14 days,
reservation can only be credited to another date or forfeited. If
cancelled within 14 days of reservation, it can be credited to
another date, minus $200 or forfeited. If the cancelled reservation
dates are rebooked, at the same rate, 90% of deposit will be returned.
Payment in full must be received four weeks prior to occupancy, or
upon reservation if within 30 days of occupancy.
