We fall in love with Palm Springs every time we're here...and you 
will, too!

A dynamic mix of activity and restfulness, action and relaxation, 
Palm Springs has it all...and Villa Alejo is the quiet at its heart.

Palm Springs was always a healing and soothing place.  The area's 
first inhabitants, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, came 
here for the natural hot mineral springs (current site of the Spa 
Resort Casino).  You don't have to go that far to rejuvenate your 
spirit; right here at Villa Alejo you can sunbathe and swim in the 
same pool the rich and famous drank margaritas by.  A few discreet 
blocks away, the rich and famous still live in a village known for 
its charm, offhand elegance, and friendliness.

Sightseers won't just see stars, though.  Ringed by mountains, the 
Coachella Valley offers many different world views: world-class 
antiques, architecture and art, memorable dining and the best golf, 
year-round.  Each spring the Valley is host to the Pacific Life 
Open, voted by the world's best tennis players as their favorite 
tournament.  

There's history here, too -- from how the Agua Caliente Indians came 
to own the casinos, to the trains that rumbled under the palm trees 
that line Palm Canyon Drive, one block away.  History is alive at 
Villa Alejo, too, from its mid-century architecture employing a 
unique design of "breeze panels", to the faithfully-restored 
original pool lounges.  There are even rumors of famous guests in 
the hotel-turned-condominiums!  This condo itself is decorated with 
many original pieces of mid-century modern furniture and decorative 
items.  You'll be in a quiet, peaceful world all your own. 

When in the mood for action, go for the nightlife, casinos (one as 
close as a stroll away!) or hiking in nearby Joshua Tree National 
Park. Take the Incline to the top of nearby San Jacinto Mountain. 
Shopping is always fashionable and fun and only one block away!  

There are always Village activities, including art and street fairs; 
check out Palm Springs' website for the time you'd most like to 
visit.

We fell in love with Palm Springs the first time we visited.  And
