The Ultimate Family Beach House Right on the Sand in Solimar in Ventura

Traditional California beach house sitting right on the sand with a private beach area and large
deck looking across at the Channel Islands on the horizon and amazing Pacific sunsets. One of a
limited number of beachfront houses in the exclusive gated community of Solimar Beach Colony just
north of Ventura and 20 minutes south of Santa Barbara.

This cozy family house has five and a half bedrooms and four bathrooms on two floors, with the
master bedroom and second bedroom on the second floor with balconies overlooking the Pacific Ocean
where you can literally watch the dolphins right from bed! The living room has a wood burning
fireplace and opens onto a large deck with teak dining table, outdoor sofas and lounges, a bartop
with stools opening to the kitchen and dining area, and a refrigerator for drinks and gas barbeque.
Directly off the deck is an outdoor shower and a private sand area that then leads to the ocean.

The sleeping arrangements are three bedrooms with queen beds, a family bedroom with queen bed and
two bunk beds, a kids bunkroom with two sets of bunks, and another small room with a bunk with two
twin beds.

The beach house is fully equipped with wireless internet, cable TV's, VCR (with video library), DVD, dishwasher,
microwave, washer and dryer, linens, beach towels, etc.

There are two adult bikes and two kids' bikes for riding along the coast and into Ventura. There is
also a portacrib for toddlers.

The Colony has two private lighted tennis courts, kids' playground, a volleyball court and a
basketball court.

The house has all sorts of beach equipment to enjoy the ocean, including a kayak, surfboard, lots of
bogey boards, skimboards, as well as a supply of beach chairs to sit back and relax and watch the
dolphins swim by.

Fifteen minutes inland is the picturesque town of Ojai for gallery wandering, golf and good food.
Just five minutes south is Ventura with its historic downtown area and great restaurants and shops.
Twenty minutes up the coast is the beautiful mission-style architecture of Santa Barbara, with
upscale shopping and early California historical sites.

$1000 Security Deposit
50% Deposit of Rental Fee to Hold Reservation
Balance due 30 days prior to rental.
There will be an extra charge if additional cleaning is required.
