Vacation Rental Description

WatersEdge is a gorgeous, newly decorated, 5 bedroom, 3 bath, Ocean Front home with a Pool that is 
ideally located in the residential area of Gulf Shores renowned West Beach!  The spacious home can 
comfortable accommodate up to 15 guests.  

WatersEdge is away from the condo crowds, enjoying a beautiful sugar-white beach that isn't 
overcrowded.  Situated directly on the beach, with the pool on the ocean side, the home evokes 
relaxation from the moment you arrive.  Enjoy the sweeping ocean views, both east and west, from 
your deck.  The view is broken only by dolphins playing in the surf or a pelican diving for dinner.  
You will be tempted to not budge from this locale.  
For any members of your group wanting a different kind of relaxation, you are still in close 
proximity to all the activities afforded by Gulf Shores.  Whatever the members of your group enjoy - 
shopping, dining, entertainment for all ages, grocery, water sports, fishing charters, golf, and 
much more - you will find it not more than 5 minutes away.  WatersEdge is the perfect place for both 
relaxation and adventure!

The sleeping arrangements of the home are very flexible, in order to best meet the needs of our 
extended family guests as well as friends traveling together.  The first floor hosts a large king 
bedroom, as well as a queen bedroom.  The second floor has two large king bedrooms and a bunkroom 
which contains a twin-over-twin bunk and a custom made full-over-queen bunk.  The latter was made 
with an adult’s size in mind.  The first floor bedrooms share a full bath, as do one of the upstairs 
king rooms and the bunkroom.  The second upstairs king room has its own large full bath, with garden 
tub.  It also enjoys a private balcony overlooking the ocean.  A queen sleeper sofa provides 
additional sleeping flexibility, as does a pack-n-play for baby.  All bedrooms are furnished with a 
TV, for your comfort and convenience.

The public area on the first floor is very open and is perfect for socializing and togetherness for 
the entire group.  Your fully equipped kitchen, with eat-in bar, flows into the sunny dining area 
and then on to your open living area.  The custom dining table accommodates 10, with another 4 seats 
at the breakfast bar, making dinners together a refreshing reality.  After a wonderful meal, enjoy 
family movie night on the 42" Aquos flat panel.  We also have a stereo with Ipod docking station, 
for your use.  Off the living area, your deck overlooks the large private pool shared only with your 
neighbor. Watch the kids from here during the day or join them - just one flight down - on the 
spacious deck at poolside. Extending beyond the edge of your pool is a ribbon of white sand 
bordering the blue waters of the Gulf. For your convenience, we have an outdoor shower just off the 
beach as you enter the pool. After a day at the beach, nothing beats a refreshing swim in the pool!  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Your vacation oasis has been completely and professionally re-decorated for the 2008 season. Enjoy 
the vibrant, happy colors chosen for the home.  The comfortable mattresses, custom bedding and 
window treatments, 450+ TC Egyptian cotton sheeting and baths stocked with thirsty Turkish towels, 
all serve to cocoon you in comfort during your stay.  The tasteful, new furniture and wonderful 
amenities will provide you the perfect backdrop to enjoy your time with family & friends.  

WatersEdge is directly on the beach with the largest pool the corps of engineers would let us build 
on the beach side.  This is no plunge pool...this pool is for swimming!  Enjoy a seat on the deck, 
watching the kids splashing below, as the dolphins play in the surf just beyond.  

Your kitchen has been outfitted with everything you might want or need to expertly prepare a 
fabulous meal.  We have new pots and pans, coordinating dishes, waffle iron, blender, margarita 
machine, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, spice rack, and more.  Even the appliances are new in 08 –
with an extra large refrigerator and an ultra-quiet dishwasher.   

Washer and Dryer are located upstairs for your convenience.

Family Entertainment is a cinch with our collection of board games for all ages, puzzles, bingo, 
video tape/DVD library, XBox & games (bunk room), and books.  All bedrooms have TV’s.  We have 
satellite service and WiFi access to keep you informed, connected, and entertained.  We even have a 
stereo with Ipod docking station enabling you to enjoy your own musical library.  

Just for Kids, we have a pack-n-play, high chair, and booster seat.  You will find plugs over unused 
electrical outlets and night-lights in various positions through the house.

For beach and pool we are happy to supply an array of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool and beach toys 
(buckets, shovels, floaters, beach balls) and the like – for use during your stay.

Activities and Attractions

Activities abound at and around WatersEdge.  Without leaving the house, enjoy the pool, beach, 
luxurious surroundings, decks, games, xbox, tv, music, wifi, dvd, photo opportunities, vcr, books, 
porch swing, and great conversation.  Sit at poolside or on the beach and do absolutely nothing!  
Relax.  Watch the pelicans, dolphins and other wildlife.  Go for a beach walk, fly a kite, build a 
sandcastle, chase crabs, hunt for shells and sea glass.  Bask in the amazing sunrise and sunsets.   
Venture out the front door to the flat bicycle lane for a run or walk on terra firma.  If you wish 
to bring your bike or skates, you will enjoy a view of the Gulf on one side and little lagoon on the 
other as you head west down the length of West Beach Blvd.  A short walk from the house is a boat 
ramp to the lagoon and an observation area.  Several fishing tournaments are held here if you’re 
looking for a place to try your luck!   Kayaks can also be rented and put in at this site.  
Restaurants, outlet shopping, boutique shopping, fresh seafood shops, grocery, ice cream shop, etc 
are within 5 minutes of the house.  Also very near, you will find entertainment for all ages, 
miniature golf, bumper cars, movie theatre, zoo, and much more.  For the adventurous at heart, 
charter fishing, sailing, parasailing and other various water sports are within 10-15 minutes.   
Gulf Shores is home to world class golfing and WatersEdge is within 15 minutes of 5 courses – so 
plan on making the rounds if golf is your bag!  As you can see, WatersEdge provides the perfect base 
for both relaxation and adventure.  Whatever your preference, your sure to enjoy your stay at
