Vacation Rental Description

Hola Amigos!  Bienvenidos a Casa de las Gaviotas!  This is a brand 
new, modern style beach front condo in quaint Bucerias, just outside 
of Puerto Vallarta.  This condo offers unique privacy as its building 
consists of 6 floors of single-unit condos with no next-door 
neighbors.  Also unique, is it can be rented as a one, two, or three 
bedroom condo. 
 
The master bedroom consists of a king sized bed with a large master 
bathroom and a balcony/patio over looking the ocean.  The second 
bedroom has two twin beds and its own bathroom.  The third bedroom 
has an oversized chair and ottoman and both have hideaway twin beds 
in them.  It too, has its own bathroom, plus a balcony with a view of 
the mountains.  Every room has its own a/c unit and ceiling fan.

The common area consists of an area for grilling and 
a relaxing infinity pool, below which are palapas if you prefer to 
lounge on the beach.  The condo's balcony/patio overlooks the pool 
and the ocean and it affords great views of gorgeous sunsets on the 
Bay of Banderas.  It has all the modern conveniences in an old 
fishing village setting. 
 
If you prefer a quiet, tranquil vacation, you can spend more time at 
the condo and walk to beach front palapa restaurants for some fresh 
fish tacos or shrimp cocktail.  Or, if you're looking for more 
excitement, Puerto Vallarta is about a 20 minute drive, where you can 
find plenty of shopping for all levels of spending and a vibrant 
night life.  

If you'd rather not rent a car, taxis can be found waiting for you in 
the center of Bucerias (about a 5-6 blocks' walk), they usually cost 
around $25 to take you to El Centro, or the heart of downtown Puerto 
Vallarta.  Also, we can arrange a ride for you to and from the 
airport, just let us know when you make your reservation so we can 
set it up.  If you do rent a car, we MIGHT be able to access parking 
for you within the building, depending on availability, please check 
with us first.  If not, street parking tends to be quite safe in 
sleepy Bucerias. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Washer/dryer, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, 
refrigerator/freezer, toaster, blender, cookware, iron/ironing board 
(although we discourage ironing while on vacation!), hair dryer, and 
of course the beautiful infinity pool.  There is both a chain 
convenience store, as well as a local "Abbarotes" store (mom and pop 
convenience market) within 2-3 blocks.  
 
*Please note* that as this condo is brand new, it does not yet have a 
phone, satellite tv, or internet (we're working on this!) I have 
however, been able to pick up some weak wireless signals some of the 
time...

Activities and Attractions

Many activities can be arranged in Bucerias and in Puerto Vallarta 
such as: Parasailing, whale watching (seasonal), scuba diving, banana 
boating, fishing trips, sight seeing trips by water or land, eco 
tours, jungle trips, dinner sails, booze cruises, jet skiing, 
swimming with dolphins, among others.  Vallarta Adventures is a good 
place to start(no, we have no connection with them, we've just used 
them before, we have no liability if you use them and don't like 
them!)

Vacation Rental Rates

Flexibility is our specialty at Casa de las Gaviotas!  This gorgeous, 
brand new beach-front condo may be rented as a one, two, or three 
bedroom condo, depending on your needs and budget.  If you rent one 
or two bedrooms, you get 2 bathrooms, if you rent 3 bedrooms, you get 
3 bathrooms. Rates vary based on the number of bedrooms rented, as 
well as whether on or off season.   

Low Season (May 1st-Oct 30th)   High Season (Nov 1st - April 30th)
One Bedroom:    $200/night      One Bedroom: $275/night
Two Bedrooms:   $300/night      Two Bedrooms: $350/night
Three Bedrooms: $350/night      Three Bedrooms: $400/night
                                Thanksgiving/Xmas/New Year weeks: 
                                One Bedroom:  $300/night
                                Two Bedrooms: $400/night
                                Three Bedrooms: $500/night

We have a minimum stay of 3 nights.  Also, we require a flat deposit 
of $350 that will be refunded after your stay and after an inspection 
has revealed no damage.  We have invested a lot in the new, high 
quality furniture and thus have to add an extra $200 to the deposit 
if children under 12 will be staying, which of course will be 
refunded after the inspection shows no crayon marks, kool-aid stains, 
etc. (which should not take longer than 2 weeks).  

If you smoke, you are welcome to do so on the balcony/patio, but 
please, no smoking inside.  If we find evidence of indoor smoking 
(smell, ashes, burns), we reserve the right to keep part or all of 
the deposit. 

If reservations are cancelled after the deadline of 2 weeks 
prior to your scheduled arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.

We do offer a 10% discount for stays of a week or longer!
Additionally, for 1 week or longer stays, we will arrange once a week 
cleaning service.
