Lake June House in Lake Placid

An idyllic setting, this charming 2,100 square foot 3 bedroom 2 bath
home is located on beautiful Lake June in Lake Placid, Florida. The
house sits on a deep lot on a quiet street in Lake Placid Estates
with a huge lemon tree in the front yard. This home has a foyer
leading into a large living/great room, a recently remodeled eat in
kitchen and breakfast room, a large laundry room complete with
washer, dryer, sink and cabinets, a large Florida room overlooking
the lake, three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. The house
comfortably sleeps 8.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, range, convection
microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, toaster
oven, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc… There is an
additional chest freezer in the laundry room. Linens, pillows and
bath towels are provided as well.
There is a covered dock to which you can moor your watercraft and a
lift for a wave runner.
Additionally this private community has a public dock with playground
avaible to its residents.
Golf courses are also nearby.

Lake June is a wonderful 3,500+ acre lake located in Lake Placid,
Florida. Its sandy bottom and depth make it ideal for all kinds of
water sports and fishing. Off the end of the dock is a grassy area
which a pair of sand hill cranes call home; nesting and caring for
their young. Otters and turtles frequent the area as well. A State
Nature Preserve is located on the lake to the west. If you don’t want
to partake of the water, lie back and relax on one of the hammocks
underneath the palm trees or enjoy a book in a lounge chair. At night
the stars fill the sky.
Inside the house you will find puzzles, card and board games, as well
as a stereo and television with a compact disc player. There is also
a smaller television/tape player with a selection of tapes. No cable
is hooked up but can be if desired. If you wish to be found, bring
your cell phones, if not leave them at home and enjoy the peaceful
environment.
If you must return to civilization, you are within a few hours of
some of the world’s most desirable attractions. Disney World,
Universal Studios, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Kennedy Space Center,
Cape Canaveral, The Everglades, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers
and the Sebring Races, are with in a short drive.
Lake Placid is the caladium capital of the world and known as the
City of Murals. Wander around this quaint town and enjoy the murals,
depicting life as it was.
