Vacation Rental Description

Stunning 3,800 square foot resort style home in world famous Mission 
Hills. This beautiful home was recently redecorated in 2006, and no 
expense was spared! Even the door handles and hinges have been 
replaced to match the modern/contemporary furnishings and  
accessories. 
Located on the 17th fairway of the Gary Player course, this home has  
everything to make your hard earned vacation or snowbird season an 
incredibly enjoyable experience. 
 
As you tour the photos of this beautiful home you will find 4 large 
bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has it's own private 
bathroom. The Casita also has an efficiency kitchen. There is a 
breakfast table for 4 in the kitchen which looks out on to the 
colorful courtyard. Dine in the formal dining room on a beautiful 
glass top table with 2 built in leafs to accomodate up to 12 guests. 
 
Adding to the beautiful interior are travertine floors in the main 
living areas, and lovely tile in the bathrooms.  
 
The Living room has a perfectly sized,  comfortable, cream colored 
sectional measuring over 8ft x 8ft, and 2 upholstered chairs. There  
is also a conversation area located next to the fire place that  
looks out on to the sparkling Pebble-Tech pool and the emerald green  
fairway beyond. This is a great place to have your morning coffee or  
tea. 
 
Next to the full bar is a vintage danish modern gaming table. Spend 
the evening playing Texas Hold 'em or poker with the leather trimmed 
gaming table top which is included with your stay. This great little 
area features a "Leather wall"! The master suite contains a king size 
bed, lounge chair and a leather bench used for simply sitting to tie 
your shoes for your morning walk, or to store that extra blanket 
during high season. In case you want to sleep late, you can keep the 
beautiful California sun from shinning too early with the "black out" 
blinds. Or raise them up to find a sliding door that provides direct 
access to the jacuzzi. The large master bathroom has a marble walk in 
shower, marble counter tops and spa bathtub suround. There are 2 more 
bedroom suites down the hall. The casita, with it's own separate 
entrance, completes the bedroom and bathroom count. 
 
The view from the back yard is fantastic. The home's location faces 
south, to take advantage of each gold and pink sunset during your  
stay. You can also take in the view of Mt. San Jacinto. The back 
yard also includes a fire pit and a built in barbeque with a bar 
height counter and 3 chairs. The modern, comfortable patio furniture 
contains a large dining table, 6 chairs, 2 additional lounge chairs 
with matching ottomans and 2 chaise lounge chairs. Have breakfast and 
lunch on the patio! Everyday is a beautiful day in the desert!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Air Conditioning, central heat, inside washer and dryer. Phone (for 
local calls only) although we recommend that you bring your cell  
phoneand charger, and a DSL line. Gas fireplace, cable TV, DVD/VHS,  
TV's in every bedroom, A 52 inch Flat panel with surround sound is  
in the Living Room. There is also a stereo and a turn table.  
 
A Gourmet kitchen with Kitchenaid applicances including a microwave,  
double oven, stove, dishwasher and built in refrigerator, all  
stainless. Ice maker, coffee maker, and a filtered water dispenser  
at sink. Cieling fans are in all rooms.

Activities and Attractions

Golf, golf, golf! There are numerous, literally dozens of courses to 
play. You can play the Gary Player course at Mission Hills, or the 
Westin Mission Hills (home of the Dinah Shore Classic)is just 1  
street away. If you're renting for 3 months or longer, you can apply  
for a golf membership through the city of Rancho Mirage that will  
provide a nice discount to your green fees at the local Rancho  
Mirage courses.  
 
There are tennis courts in 2 separate locations. There is also a  
community pool and a large patio for entertaining large groups. 
 
Shopping is always a must. El Paseo(Rodeo Drive of the desert), is  
off of Hwy 111. The Palm Desert Mall is located at Hwy 111 and  
Monterey. There's plenty of shopping and if you like consignment  
shopping, the desert valley is the place for you! Consult the yellow  
pages for listings. You can't go wrong with any of them. 
 
The Airplane Museum on Gene Autry Trail, by the Palm Springs Airport 
is great. Occassionally they will take the vintage airplnes into the 
air and you can watch them as they "buzz the tower"! 
 
The Living Desert is a must! The desert comes alive in the cooler 
winter months.  
 
Palm Springs Tram. 
 
Downtown Palm Springs. If you like the Blues, try the Blue Guitar on  
Palm Canyon Drive. Reservations are recomended. 
 
Joshua Tree National Park. A 40 minute drive from the home. 
 
Gambling at the Indian Casinos. There several to choose from. The 
closest is the Agua Caliente casino. Most casinos have a large  
theatre for live performances. 
 
College of the Desert swap meet is every Saturday and Sunday. COD is 
located on Bob Hope Drive and Fred Waring Drive.

Vacation Rental Rates

High Season: (November 1 to March 15) 
Monthly: $7,900. Discounts available to those who rent 2 months or  
longer 
 
Heating pool and jacuzzi is optional. Inquire for details.  
 
Mid Season:  (March 16 to May 19) 
Monthly: $6,700 
 
Sorry, Property is not available during the summer months. 
 
A $2,500 security deposit is required on all stays. 
 
First half of total rent, plus secruity deposit is required within  
10 days of your confirmed reservation. The remaining half is due  
within 40 days of your arrival date. 
 
Cancellations are acceptable up to 30 calendar days prior to your  
original arrvial date, with a full refund. Cancellations within 29  
calendar days of your original arrival date will be subject to a  
charge of $2,500.
