This house is only 1000 ft to the entrance of the St. Joseph State
Park. It has gulf and bay views and very nice deeded accesses to both
with a great boardwalk on the gulf side where you can walk to the
beach and spend the day catching pompano and whiting or hanging out
with your family and dog. The bay access provides you a short walk to
probably the best trout and redfish flats in St. Joe Bay. There is
plenty of parking for several boats as well as cars in the driveway.
The house is like new it was built in 2002 and is very nice and
tastefully furnished. We have had some of the best times of our lives
here. It is great for a honeymoon or family retreat. The scalloping,
fishing and sunsets are the best!
house rental amenities
The State Park is only 1000 feet away with pristine trails, beaches,
and a nice double boat launch. We have a deeded beach on the Gulf
side just walk a short walk right across the sreet... it's like your
own private beach only one to two families are ever there at any
given time. The deeded bay access leads to some really great fishing.
Grass flats with pot holes and a channel equals world class bay
fishing for giant trout and nice reds as well as a few other species
like cobia, pompano, and an occasional tarpon. Last year I went
wading eight times and caught keeper redfish on top water lures every
me I went. Coneheads restraunt is walking distance for a burger,
beer, or Ice cream treat.
We have a gas and charcoal grill and high speed internet access as
well as two phones, a blender, a stereo, a dvd player, a vcr, and a
telescope to look at the beautiful stars at night which are unspoiled
by the lack of city lights.
The BP is only a short ride down the street if you need any supplies.
