Beachfront Cottage: Chic-a-si cottage, an IRB original in Indian Rocks Beach

Enjoy the privacy of your very own cottage directly on the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Located on a quaint, historic barrier island, Chic a si Cottage is an Indian Rocks Beach original. Built of cypress, with vaulted ceilings, it maintains its charm with its gingerbread trim and tin roof. Beautiful, large gazebo with overhead fan makes alfresco dining on the beach delightful. Enjoy spectacular sunsets right outside your door in comfort. Haitian art and colorful hues delight the eyes as do the beautiful butterfly gardens and orchids. The private & secluded outdoor hot/cold shower allows for bathing under the sun or moon. Central heat & air conditioned.

Generous parking available for 8 cars.

Three bedrooms,(two baths) two queen beds and a bunk room allow comfort for 6 with ease. Includes all linens & towels. Telephones. Kitchen has all imaginable amenities, full size appliances, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, hand mixer, toaster, blender, waffle maker, garbage disposal, refrig with icemaker & filtered water, and full service for 8. Full sized washer & dryer in private laundry. Cozy living room made of cypress has vaulted ceiling with fireplace, color TV w/digital cable, VCR & videos, CD player & tuner. High speed wireless internet. Master bedroom has a color TV, and French doors leading out to
private outdoor shower. Beach chairs, beach towels, and many creature comforts,including outdoor gas grill. Outdoor rocking chairs, and oversized seating make the large deck the place to be at our colorful sunsets. Boat box full of children's toys for sandcastle building and digging. Well appointed, with an eye toward comfort and enjoyment.

All water sports, kite flying, and shelling on the beach,or just
relax in our hammock. Local entertainment abounds with
sightseeing at the aquariums, botanical gardens, art museums, and
shopping,antiquing, golfing, fishing, scuba diving, and eating at
wonderful restaurants, some within walking distance. For fun take
the beach trolley,which runs as far south as Passe-a-grille beach, a
bargain at $1.25. Tampa, just 25 miles away, offers Historic Ybor
City with its nightlife, Busch Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, and
more shopping opportunities, including International Plaza.

Saturday check in 2pm to the following Saturday check out at 10am

Please check our AVAILABILITY CALENDAR by clicking on "Check
calendar" above.(under our names) Please note that Saturday is
the day for checking in & out.


If someone is checking "in" at 2:00pm that Saturday, it is shown as
red (or colored in) on the calendar. The rental still goes through
to the following Saturday at 10:00am.

Rates do not include cleaning fee of $75.00 nor the 12% Florida
occupancy tax.


Security deposit of $500.00 per week required for booking. Fully
refundable if cancellation occurs 60 days prior to first day of the rental.
