Restored Houseboat Near Paris in Mazatlan

The boat is a 1930's restored Dutch river barge and is lovely, sunny and bright and will all the amenities you could want.  It is in a beautiful little town outside of Paris that offers everything you need in itself and a quick trip to get into the city.  It is a ten minute walk from the train station and it takes 25 minutes to get to Paris.  There is an hourly bus to and from the airport so it is easy very convenient for those who want to use the ship as a base from which to explore Europe (there are extremely cheap flight tickets to nearly every destination in Europe and it is only two hours by train to Brussels and less than four to Amsterdam.)

- Incredibly light and bright with 20 large windows, hatches, skylights etc (the lightest boat you will ever see!)- Lots of deck space and chairs for dining outside or sunbathing in the summer

- Eco friendly wood pellet heating system on a thermostat (all you have to do is load in the bags of wood pellets when it is empty.  The stove is lovely and provides a nice fire to curl up in front of.

- Massive 90 inch home theater with DVD player and English HD satellite television service (around 70 channels fromt the UK along with around Satellite radio stations

- Entire ship wired for sound so you can watch TV and movies in bed, in the living room or listen to music or the radio while you cook in the kitchen

- Seperate guest sleeping area plus the couch in the living room can occomdate three couples all together

- Full kithen with four burner gas stove, mid size fridge and freezer, microwave oven, toaster oven, toaster, sink with hot water and all the dishes, pots and pans etc you will need

- Large bathroom with heated tile floors, shower and sink with extremely hot water and great pressure, normal style toilette (NOT a manual flush boat toilette)

- 25 minutes into Paris by train

- A five minute walk into the the center of the town where you can find groceries, bars, movie theatres, shops, fitness centers etc.

- Beutiful town on the river with a gorgeous church, winding streets filled with charm and you will rarely see other tourists

- Two minutes walk to the public beach on the river which is quite popular and busy during the summer

- Two minutes walk to the regional park with long, wooded bike/walking/jogging trails

Rates include all utilities. 

Minimum stay of one week.

Monthly:  $950 (May through October), $1200 (November through April).

Weekly:$550 (May through October), $850 (November through April). 

Security Deposit:  $300 to reserve and as a deposit on last month of utilities.

We will consider a well-behaved pet. A $100 refundable pet security deposit is required prior to arrival.
