Vacation Rental Description

An unsurpassed view of the Eggemogin Reach, 780 feet of 
private waterfront, and 13 pristine acres of meadow and evergreen 
forest make this property unique.  The water view is 
brought inside by large glass sliding doors and multiple windows. 
Fireplace with marble hearth, wood floors, open floor plan and 
tasteful decor exude warmth and comfort.  Relax on deck, ledges or 
beach area.  Enjoy time with friends and family as this house has 
beds for 6 yet is cozy enough for just 2. Boathouse near the water.

Little Deer Isle, part of the town of Deer Isle, runs 3 miles long, 
generally east and west, forming the southern boundary of Eggemogin 
Reach.  It is connected to the mainland by the Deer Isle - Sedgwick 
bridge.

Three sisters own the Saltwater Paradise, which we inherited from 
our parents.  We are very proud of the propertyhouse and have tried 
to 
maintain it as well as our parents did.

couch and comfortable chairs, lamps, large round table with chairs

Downstairs bathroom: full with bath and shower and 2 wash basins

Downstairs bedroom: 2 single beds

Upstairs first bedroom: queen size bed

Upstairs second bedroom: 2 single beds

Upstairs bathroom: full with bath and shower

VCR, DVD player, CD player, telephone

Activities and Attractions

Kayaking, canoeing, sailing, hiking, swimming, fishing, biking, 
wildlife viewing, snorkeling, boating,  shelling, cross country 
skiing

Dig for clams or mussels

Boat house, utility house,charcoal BBQ.

Winter is beautiful here with wonderful skies and sunsets, a stark 
simplicity and purity.  The most spectacular and floral time on the 
island is from May 15 through July 1 with lupines peaking mid-late 
June.
