Rich's Cove Cottage - Oceanfront home near Acadia Nat'l Park in Isle au Haut

This newly constructed artisan cottage is situated in a secluded cove
on the north-eastern shore of Isle-au-Haut, an island about 5 miles
off the coast of Maine. The cove is home to two famous Maine authors
and several families that summer there.
Isle-au-Haut is a beautiful island comprised of nearly 50% Acadia
National Park land, is serviced by two different ferry routes and
is accessible from Stonington, Maine (see the isle au haut boat
company on line). In US News and World Report's
July 2005
special vacation issue, Isle-au-Haut was called the 'most beautiful
spot on Earth'.
Wake up to the sunrise over the Atlantic and the sounds of
lobsterboats and seagulls. Bike or take a short drive to beautiful
Acadia National Park.
Renting this cottage will allow you and your family and friends to
truly get away from it all and to experience Maine island life to
its fullest. A phone call will have caught-that-day lobsters
delivered to your home, a short bike ride will bring you to a
glacier-cut lake with waters as clear as glass.
The milky way is almost bright enough to light your evening by itself, not
the mention the opportunity for other stargazing.
You will not believe your eyes, nor will you want to leave...
Discounts for return renters apply after the first year and for
contracts longer than one week.
A flat fee of $40 for cleaning is applied to each bill.
For larger families or parties, another, larger house (sleeps 8,
full kitchen and bath) is available during certain times of the year
for an additional rate. Please inquire if interested.
