Vacation Rental Description

Casa Iguana is a lovely, elegant, romantic, spacious palapa home with
a large open terrace perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean
with spectacular views out to sea and both north and south views of
the coast. It is not unusual to see dolphins and whales playing in the
surf.  There are two sandy beaches nearby for swimming. One is steps
away and is palm-studded, flat for wonderful walking--you could walk
for miles--or playing in the surf, and almost always deserted, the
other is about a ten minute walk, is protected and has gentle surf.
Also steps away is one of the best surf breaks in the area which is
also great for bodysurfing. For people who like to fish, heaven
awaits! Casa Iguana consists of two palapas, one is the large
kitchen/dining/living area with full bathroom and the other is two
stories, each a large bedroom with its own bathroom and balcony or
terrace which affords great privacy. There is an infinity dipping pool
on the terrace of the main palapa as well as a large, partially
shaded, community pool.

A/C in downstairs bedroom, fans in upstairs palapa-roofed bedroom.

Activities and Attractions

Casa Iguana is not a place to come for nightlife, golf or tennis. It
is a place of great beauty and peace. You will not want to leave!
However, management can arrange for day trips to local sights such as
a jungle ride, a waterfall, a trip to the market in Tepic which is
famous for its Huichol arts and crafts, horseback riding, massages,
whale-watching, deep sea fishing and markets held in nearby towns. If
you enjoy both pool and ocean swimming and walking, you will never
want to leave!
