Everything You Need

Having previously lived in Tucson, I knew the area this condo is in is a quiet, beautiful location, close to the mountains with grocery stores and plenty of places to eat nearby.

The owner was very prompt with responses and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything we needed when we arrived. All the basics and lots of extras like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, laundry soap, 2 giant pool towels, ketchup, mustard and mayo in the fridge, spices, coffee and even baggies and foil. There was even a Basha's card in a kitchen drawer so you could save on groceries. There was also a game to play, a small stereo and a tv with built in VHS and DVD players. The master bed had a thick memory foam pad on top and was very comfortable. There was plenty of storage for all your clothes and other things. I was also glad to find the complex had a place for recycling so I could continue to do my part.

There was a nice balcony to have our morning coffee and evening cocktails on. Although the view of the mountains was limited on the balcony, it was there if you scrunched the chairs into the corner. There was a nice mesquite tree with visits from hummingbirds and a view of the unheated pool that was just around the corner that offered great mountain views and 2 nice bbq grills.

My boyfriend and I wanted to do some hiking and Sabino Canyon was just down the street which was great. After our beautiful hike it was just a couple minutes drive back to the condo to cool off in the heated pool. We also met up with a friend and headed up to Mt. Lemmon for more hiking and the awesome scenery, just make sure you bring a coat... it's much cooler up there.

We highly recommend El Charro down the street for great mexican food. Loved the Pollo El Charro! Gavi is great for italian. And if your up for a bit of a drive, Baggins and Paradise Bakery & Cafe are always on my list for gourmet sandwiches. Trader Joe's is a great place for organic and just plain yummy groceries.

We were only there for 3 nights and we wished it could have been longer so we would have had more time to enjoy the relaxing amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
