Jamaica Sunset Canal Home in Galveston

Welcome to my second home! This is the perfect retreat for a romantic weekend or bring the children along, they can have their own bedroom.   Located in Jamaica Beach at the end of a canal, the property has uninterrupted views of the wetlands for birdwatching or toasting the sunsets in the evening from the large deck, or turn around and enjoy the canal. The deck has chairs and sunbeds with cushions for sunbathing, reading or sleeping! This is a happy home with each room having been decorated in a different color as you will see from the pictures. I have enjoyed putting it together and hope you will enjoy it as much as I. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom,  fully equipped kitchen, one tv, but no phones, and plenty of board games for some quality time together!   I love my little house and would ask that you take care of it while you are here, many thanks.

Two upstairs bedrooms have queen sized beds with freshly laundered linens which will be ready for your arrival. Towels will also be available, including beach size towels. There is a full bathroom upstairs with a shower and a hair dyer. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
Downstairs has been rebuilt since Ike blew through and has a new washer and dryer for your use. If you'd rather bring your own linens and towels, just let me know. Thank you.

The beach is a fifteen minute walk away. Go to the end of Bob Smith turn right and 1/4 mile on the left is a grand little grocery store with fresh meat, fish, vegetables and other foods in case you need something in a hurry! Galveston is FULL of fun things to do, such as; the beach, sunbathing, bay and gulf fishing,
fishing off the main pier on the seawall, golf, bungy jumping, batting cages, cinema, war plane museum, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens with rainforest, aquarium and Imax Theatre, The Strand for shopping and eating,
horseback riding, mini golf, jet ski rentals, cruises, railroad musem, tall ship Elissa and many historic buildings and homes open for public tours including tours of the Port of Houston. Fine dining, entertainment at the Opera House, the Strand Theatre and the East End Theatre or just taking long walks on the beach and shelling, whatever takes your fancy!! It's all here.

Year round rate $250 per night (Two night minimum)
