Vacation Rental Description

The Last Resort is a cozy cottage set high above the Puget Sound on Vashon's West Side.  From here  
you can  
view all types of wild life, enjoy the quiet or relax on long walks along the shore.  While having  
tea or coffee on the deck in the morning or a relaxing moment at the end of the day you can view all  
maner of boats moving along Colvos Passage!  Nestled deep  
in the woods at  
the end of of a country lane you will find Eagles, Osprey, Whales, Dolphins, Herons and an array of  
bird life and  
woodland animals to talk about for a life time!

Vacation Rental Amenities

The Last Resort has a kitchen-ette which has a small refrigerator, 2 burner hot plate, microwave  
oven, coffee  
maker with coffee and filters and a  
blender.  Place settings for indoor as well as ones for out door dinning to accomodate 4 and a  
closet for evening clothes. The cottage  
has a queen  
sized hide-a-bed sofa on the main floor and a loft with another queen sized mattress and the  
bathroom  
comes with a  
stand up shower.  There are 2 sources of heat here at the cottage, an electric wall heater in the  
main room and one in the bath in addition to an air tight wood stove. 
Out side the french doors that lead you to a deck with a beautiful view of The Puget Sound is a 6  
person jacuzzi hot tub with an outside shower that has hot and cold water.  If you like to BBQ there  
is a grill and when all else fails there is our local gym.  A guest pass is provided for your  
enjoyment to the club and it features a swimming pool, aerobics, racket ball and sauna rooms.  The  
weight room offers you training with 3 types of weights.

Activities and Attractions

Vashon has many things to offer to you the traveller.  Wilderness hikes along magnificant ponds and  
through woodlands.  You might also enjoy the trails through the woods or perhaps a beach walk would  
be more relaxing which can be accesed from the cottage.  For the more adventerous, hayacks are  
offered at the marina and there is a bike shop with bikes for rent to those that would like to just  
peddle around out here on our country lanes.

Vacation Rental Rates

The rate is $130.00 per night and I'll do single nights 
or 
$800.00 per week with a comitment to 7 days or more. Discounts for cash payments. 
Tax is included in the charges. 
Please, no dogs.  Their dander is a problem for some travelers.  Again, I'm sorry.
