Just 200 steps to beautiful Ocean Beach, Lotus Cottages is the perfect "clean" getaway! A gourmet kitchen,

& relaxing place. The livingroom has comfortable rattan chairs & the bedroom has 400 ct sheets on a
cozy queen bed & subtle lighting. A trundle bed nearby makes two twin beds & has a functional
skylight above. The bathroom has spa quality towels, there's a washer/dryer & the cottage is VERY
clean!

Listen to 100 yr old palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze on your back deck with a 10' high bamboo
& wood fence with jasmine. Relax away stress with a glass of wine.

oldest cottages by an award winning architect & a master carpenter.

This very special, 1922 knotty pine paneled, Sears and Roebuck beach kit cottage was lovingly
restored in 2007. It was designed to accommodate San Diego's extraordinary year-round weather. In the
front is a private gated yard elevated above the street and bordered with palm trees. A delightful
gourmet kitchen awaits you just inside the front door and includes two under-the-counter
refrigerators, an under-the-counter freezer, a Jenn Air range and a microwave. The large counter
space and tall stools on the opposite side create a fun and interactive place to eat. The entire
cottage is surrounded by 280 degrees of deck, has keyless entry and there’s even a hidden stackable
washer and dryer just off the back patio. If you appreciate true craftsmanship, you will love this
cottage. No matter where you are in this cozy abode you will feel relaxed!

Some History on our Beach Cottage: 100 years ago, the ground underneath this beach cottage was the
beach. In 1918, an amusement park, Wonderland Park, was located here. The cottage sits on the ground
which was formerly the concrete pad around the Wonderland Park Carousel. In 1922, three beach cottage
kits were erected on Lotus Street.

Today, these cottages are some of the oldest and quaintest Ocean Beach structures. LotusCottages is
magical!

The beach cottage is within a 1/2 block of the Pacific Ocean. For San Diegans, this is a perfect
place for parents or family to stay while visiting San Diego. Spend your time surfing, swimming or
just hanging at the beach.

LotusCottages is within walking distance to some of San Diego's most enjoyable dining establishments,
including Thee Bungalow and the 3rd Corner bistro. If you'd like, take a stroll on the beach and
spend some time at the South Beach Bistro - which was just awarded accolades by Bon Appetit magazine.

Ocean Beach (OB) is one of the hippest yet relaxing communities in San Diego County. Famous for a
strong neighborhood, Ocean Beach hosts it's own Fourth of July Fireworks, a Christmas/Holiday Parade
AND every Wednesday afternoon/early evening, there is a terrific Farmer's Market on Newport Avenue.
