enjoyment on many, many levels? 
Answer: The Sunny Padre, of course!
The Sunny Padre, our family’s "on the beach" vacation home in South 
Padre Island, is perfect for you in many ways.  Here are several 
reasons why the Sunny Padre will appeal to you:
One level access to everything – You’ll have easy access to the 
beach in front and to the pool in back of your condo.  Since our 
condo is on the ground floor, you won’t be climbing any stairs or 
waiting for any elevators and you’ll still enjoy a great 
unobstructed view of the ocean.  If you’re a parent of small 
children, imagine the peace of mind you’ll experience sitting 
comfortably on a patio chair while watching your kids play safely in 
the sand directly in front of you.   If you have difficulty getting 
around, you’ll appreciate the relative ease of moving in and out of 
the complex as you venture out to area attractions or simply down to 
the beach.  [In the interest of full disclosure, it’s important to 
know that there’s a short retaining wall of about 3 feet high 
several feet away from the condominium that you need to step down 
from in order to be “on the beach”.  For those who would find this 
difficult to traverse, a wooden ramp provides you beach access].
Secluded and gated – The Sunny Padre is located in a complex at 
exactly the 1-mile mark from the southern tip of the island.  If 
you’re familiar with the island, you’ll realize that it tends to be 
quieter here.  Concentrations of vacationers become heavier as you 
move north toward the center of the island.  If you like the idea of 
having a little more beach for yourself, with the option of always 
going toward the crowds, this is your place.  Entrance to the 
complex is controlled with a security-coded drive-through gate and 
security is on site 24 hours per day.  Our condo is in a mid-rise 
(six story) building.
Family-oriented – We love families!  Having two young children of 
our own, we realize how important it is to get away and cement those 
family bonds.  For the reasons already noted above, plus the fact 
that we’re located right next to Schlitterbahn Water Park, the Sunny 
Padre makes a great family getaway.
Spacious and comfortable – Our condo is 1300 square feet and 
features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with full kitchen and a 
washer/dryer inside the unit.  You’ll have room to spread out and 
won’t be stepping on each other’s sun-burned toes!  There are two 
master bedrooms, with comfortable king-sized beds in each.  The 
kids' room has two new full-sized Serta pillowtop beds and the 
living room features a new sleeper sofa.  Can't agree on a movie?  
Each bedroom has its own TV and DVD player.  Bring your USB jump 
drive loaded with your favorite MP3s for plug-and-play music in the 
new bookshelf stereo.
On the Beach – You'll be hard-pressed finding another condo that's 
this close to the ocean.  At Sunny Padre, you'll feel like you’re 
already on the beach because you pretty much are.
