Vacation Rental Description

Sleeps 7. In downtown Hood River, with an unobstructed 180 degree view of the Columbia River from  
Bingen to the Hook, plus Mt Adams centered in the middle.

Enter through the keyless entry glass front door into a bright , open living room, dining area, and 
delightful 1/2 bath while enjoying the radiant warm tiles underfoot (even the shower floors !). Sink 
into the cushy leather recliner sectional to  enjoy the view or watch  the 43” projection tv. 

Watch races at the Event Site or the July fireworks, or the local eagle , ospreys, quail, and Canada 
geese as you dine on the deck. Savor the details of the well furnished gourmet crowned hickory and 
black granite kitchen with the Jennair dual fuel range, Bosch dishwasher, 6 Lazy Susans, and numerous 
pullouts. A tablecloth, cloth napkins, kids dishes, cups, and utensils, and highchairs are also 
provided.  

Send the kids or guests downstairs to the 2  bedrooms and a full bath with laundry room and 
utility sink. 

Treasure the quiet of the 585 square foot Master Suite above the main floor, with its walk-in 
closet , walk-in heated tile dual-head shower with bench, and pedestal sinks, plus heated massage 
chair and tv. Awake to an outstanding view of the river, and decide from your bed whether to sail or 
not. Adjust your temperature without even getting up, with the remote controlled AC.

Parking is easy in the  extra long garage and concrete off street parking for 4 cars.

 Walk the few blocks to downtown, the Heights,the hospital, or Safeway. Just one minute from the 
highway, one hour to Portland, 5 minutes to windsurfing or kiting, 40 minutes to skiing, and in the 
heart of great restaurants, shopping, schools, the hospital, galleries, theaters, golfing, fishing , 
hiking, biking, boating, hang gliding, rafting, kayaking, windsurfing , and kiting. A new airplane 
museum, and the Discovery Center are nearby, as well as a skateboard park, kids playground, swimming 
pool,and library.  


 Fully furnished with new beds : 1 queen Memory foam , 1 queen Plush, and a Double/ Twin Futon bunk 
with new coil mattresses. Also included are cable, dvd, WIFI, computer. The kitchen is furnished with 
microwave, toaster, blender, coffeemaker and grinder, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, 
beer and wine glasses, utensils, cloth napkins, tablecloth, kids eating ware. High chairs, stuffed 
animals, and toys for the little ones. Adult games and books for the larger ones. Pets ok with extra

and classes. Lots of great restaurants , wineries, breweries, and tasting rooms are all around. Music 
festivals, fruit festivals. Steam train rides, including special events for the adults and the kids. 
Gorge Sternwheeler rides.
