Holly House -- Victorian Charm by the Sea in Lubec

Holly House is a gorgeous, newly renovated, cottage overlooking Lubec Narrows, the ocean channel between
Lubec and Campobello Island, Canada. The house is filled with Victorian-style details, old-world charm, and
modern comfort. Enjoy your morning coffee on the master bedroom balcony overlooking the water. Spend the
evening grilling on the deck or sitting by the cozy fireplace, watching the fishing boats chug through the
channel. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, two full baths, two bedrooms with queen bed and full
bed. Bed and bath linen are provided. The cottage has local phone service, cable TV, and high speed internet
for those who need to stay in touch with the world. For those who want to leave the rest of the world behind, a
3 mile long sandy beach is a short stroll away. NOTE: Holly House is still under renovation; work is on schedule
for completion in March, 2008. More photos coming soon as the house is completed!

The Lubec area features 3 state parks, 2 international parks, a national wildlife refuge, and several nature
preserves. All offer a variety of well maintained hiking
trails. Lubec has sandy beaches (rare this far Down East), bold coastal cliffs, coastal rain forest, wildflower
meadows, and peat bogs. Our West Quoddy Head Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in
the country – plus, you can visit 4 other lighthouses within a 15 mile radius of Holly House. Local whale, wildlife,
and puffin tours offer the chance to observe nature up close. Local ecology and history tours will help you learn
about the area. You can golf, visit local galleries and shops, attend top-notch concerts, and enjoy our local
festivals. The area is rich in history—from the first naval battle of the Revolutionary War to Maine's
own "Cannery Row" which lined the waterfronts of the Down East coast. You'll find it all here—rich history,
spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, and friendly people.

July & August $800/wk.
September through June $700/wk.
Please add $50 per week rent surcharge if you will have a pet with you.
Please add Maine Lodging Tax.

$400/wk deposit ($450/wk with pet) is due when you place reservation. Deposit acts as a reservation deposit
to secure your reservation until your stay begins. Once you arrive, it becomes a damage deposit during your
stay. Your damage deposit is refundable after departure.

Rent plus tax is due 6 weeks before stay begins.
