I'd like to invite you to A Taste of Italy -- TuscInn. This privately-owned guest house just down  
the hill from the College of the Siskiyous is unique, uncluttered and restive; a place you would  
want to return to at night and somewhere to relax. It is a great location, for couples, for the  
whole family, or for parents of students any time of the year. It is located at the ‘Heart’ of Mt.  
Shasta in Weed, CA along I-5, making access to the area a breeze. Here you'll find a special place  
where heart and a home away from home come together. 
 
TuscInn has been created to have the ambience of Tuscany with indoor and outdoor spaces. You will  
find beautiful comfortable rooms, luxury beds, fluffy towels and friendly folks. The yard is fenced  
and the entrance, drive and parking are private. It is located on the ground floor of a 2-story  
home. The artist/owner decorated and furnished the 720 square feet of newly remodeled rooms with  
Italy in mind. There are 2 clean and cozy bedrooms which supply all your bed linens on firm comphy  
beds. 
 
TuscInn is a member of the Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce as well as the Weed Chamber of Commerce.

Activities and Attractions

The Shasta area is a 4-Season recreational paradise with fantastic hiking, nearby lakes, lake or  
stream fishing, winter sports including day and night skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Shasta Ski Park,  
snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, breath-taking scenery and excellent resturants as  
well as being a small, quiet rural mountain community. Weed is home to the College of the Siskiyous  
which offers sports events, plays and cultural events. 
 
Avid golfers will find the Golf Courses in Weed and Mt. Shasta to their liking. If you love the  
outdoor you might take a day hike with a picnic up Black Butte - a Cinder cone. Then there are the  
Shasta Caverns and the Pluto Caves to discover. Castle Crags State Park is awesome, but if you want  
a really long hike, take the trail around Castle Crags. A really special treat is the McCloud Dinner  
Train that gives a multicourse meal while traveling through the forest and back. The Fish Hatchery  
is great for the kids, especially on free fishing days. There are also museums, the Living Memorial  
Sculptural Gardens and Labyrinth, The Mt. Shasta Lavender Farms and the Iris Farm. In downtown Weed  
the Cedar Lanes Bowling Alley is a fun outing. 
 
If you'd rather relax in style you'll find TuscInn to be the place to spend the day indoors where it  
has a warm and inviting atmosphere or outdoors in the courtyards enjoying the view of the mountains.

Vacation Rental Rates

Benvenuto...Welcome to TuscInn...the place to relax in style with a cozy and inviting atmosphere! 
 
To reserve your stay you must have a credit card guarantee. There is a 2 night stay minimum. I  
accept Visa or Master Card. During your stay you have the option for cleaning at $50/per time. A 10%  
city tax is added to all stays under 31 days. 
If you wish to cancel reservations it must be done 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival to avoid  
being charged the full price of the reservation to your credit card. 
 
Book a week and get the 7th night free. 
 
   Single Room Rates for 1 (one) person; Add $25 for 2nd person/night 
     Fiesole Guest Room: Double Bed $80/night; $480/wk  
     Firenze Guest Room: King Bed or 2 twins $100/night; $600/wk 
    
   Whole House Rates include Fiesole Guest Room with a double bed and Firenze Guest Room with a King 
   or two twin beds as well as a double convertable bed in the Gathering Room. 
     1-2 persons $125/night; $750/wk 
     3-4 persons $150/night; $900/wk 
     5   persons $170/night; $1020/wk 
     6   persons $185/night; $1110/wk 
 
Some like the Guest House to themselves and others like to meet new friends and ask about the  
attractions they have visited. Please let us know which you prefer. You may book the whole house but  
note that if you book one of the rooms and not the whole house, you will share the Bathroom;  
Gathering Room; Dining Room; a fully equipped self-catering Kitchen with washer/dryer and the  
outdoor covered spaces at the front of TuscInn with a couple of other guests. You can still have the  
private courtyard if you book the Firenze Guest Room and not the whole house.
