vacation rental description
Just fifteen minutes away from Miami international airport, this beautiful unit is located four houses
west of Main Highway, in the lovely South Grove. The room is on the first floor of the cottage of a
1924 Walter deGarmo estate. Walter deGarmo was one of Miami's earliest and most influential architects.
He is best known for his interesting open air designs, central courtyards, and large loggias.
The home maintains its original charm, but has the comforts of the 21st century. The
unit's entrance is separate from that of the main house, making it very private. The yard is enclosed
by a coral rock wall, tall ficus hedge, and tropical plants and trees. It is an idyllic place for
little ones to play or for quiet relaxation. Peacock and parrot sightings are common.
