Our Lafayette Guesthouse is a newly refurnished, year-round ranch style vacation rental, built in 2006, has approx. 3,207 total sq. ft. with three (3) bedrooms, two (2) full baths, great room (living room w/vaulted ceiling), formal dining room, eat-in kitchen with large picture window overlooking the screened patio/lanai and private backyard, den/office, laundry room, two (2) car garage, gently sloped treed lot and a quiet neighborhood.

This vacation home is clean, spacious, fully equipped and includes the Citrus Hills Social Membership with monthly rentals. Services include central air-conditioning, in-state telephone service, color cable television, weekly trash removal and lawn maintenance. If needed, internet service is easy to arrange; however you will need to bring your own laptop. If interested, weekly housekeeping services may also be arranged. Due to the private septic system, maximum occupancy is limited to six (6) persons. Smoking is restricted to screened patio/lanai area.  No pets, please.  Home not suitable for small children.

The home is located between the Towns of Inverness & Hernando, off the Gulf to Lake Highway, just minutes from restaurants, shopping centers, local activities & attractions. Plus, both the Tampa and Orlando airports are approximately 1 to 1-1/2 hours south.

 City of Inverness was named in 1891, lies comfortably between the tranquil waters of the chain of seven lakes leading to the Gulf of Mexico, known as the Tsala Apopka (considered one of the richest bass fisheries in the world), and continues to the moss filled oak trees of the Inverness highlands. Its historic downtown square with an array of fine shops, restaurants, the Crown Hotel and Citrus County's turn-of-the-century Courthouse (appeared in film scenes from "Follow That Dream" starring Elvis Presley), bathe Inverness in the ambiance of times past.

Inverness is geographically located in the center of the State of Florida and it bears a notable resemblance to its sister city - Inverness, Scotland. Monthly Rental Rates (up  to 6 persons):  Effective 10/01/09

November through April                         $2,500 per month, plus tax

Snowbird Seasonal Stays:  Two (2) persons, rent 2-3 months @ $2,000/month, plus tax.

All rentals include air-conditioning, in-state long distance telephone, basic cable television, weekly trash removal & lawn maintenance. Monthly rentals also include the Citrus Hills Social Membership with free green fees (cart rental required). Due to the private septic system, maximum occupancy is limited to six (6) persons. Smoking is restricted to screened patio/lanai area.  No pets, please.  Home not suitable for small children.

A $500 non-refundable deposit for each month reserved is required to confirm a reservation within ten (10) days from initial booking.  A $15 service fee is charged for all cancelled reservations that we are able to re-book. The signed rental agreement & full rental payment is due no later than thirty (30) days prior to arrival. No refunds on rental fee for late arrivals or early departures. If all conditions have been met, the reservation/damage deposit shall be refunded within 30 days of departure, less cleaning fee as stated below.  House Rules & Deed Restrictions applicable. Rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed.  Now accepting all major credit cards via PayPal for rental fee only.
