The Lafayette House is a newly furnished, year-round ranch style vacation rental, built in 2006, has
approx. 3,207 total sq. ft. with three (3) bedrooms, two (2) full baths, great room (living room
w/vaulted ceiling), formal dining room, eat-in kitchen with large picture window overlooking the
screened patio/lanai and private backyard, den/office, laundry room, two (2) car garage, gently
sloped treed lot and a quiet neighborhood.
Our vacation home is clean, spacious, fully equipped with nice furnishings and includes the
Citrus Hills Social Membership with monthly rentals. Services include central air-conditioning,
local telephone service, cable television, weekly trash removal and lawn maintenance. If
interested, weekly housekeeping services may be arranged at an additional cost. Due to the private
septic system, maximum occupancy is limited to six (6) persons. Smoking restricted to screened
patio/lanai area or backyard. A small, (20 lb.), flea treated pet is possible with prior approval
and a non-refundable pet fee.
The home is located between the Towns of Inverness & Hernando, off the Gulf to Lake Highway, just
minutes from restaurants, shopping centers, local activities & attractions. Plus, both the Tampa
and Orlando airports are approximately 1½ hours south to southeast. “We’ll meet you there with the
Keys!”
Citrus Hills is a Deed Restricted Community rich in world-class amenities. Facilities include:
• The Citrus Hills Golf & Country Clubhouse containing two restaurants, lounge, catering
hall, golf pro shop and hard surface tennis center (Free Tennis & Golf - cart fee required).
• The Skyview Clubhouse containing restaurant/lounge, golf pro shop, Har-Tru tennis center
and tennis observation deck (semi-private, tennis, greens & cart fees required).

City of Inverness was named in 1891, lies comfortably between the tranquil waters of the chain of
seven lakes leading to the Gulf of Mexico, known as the Tsala Apopka (considered one of the richest
bass fisheries in the world), and continues to the moss filled oak trees of the Inverness highlands.
Its historic downtown square with an array of fine shops, restaurants, the Crown Hotel and Citrus
County’s turn-of-the-century Courthouse (appeared in film scenes from “Follow That Dream” starring
Elvis Presley), bathe Inverness in the ambiance of times past.

Vacation Rental Rates (up to 4 persons):
Peak Season (January – April) $2,250 per mo., plus 9% tax
Off-Peak Season (May – December) $2,000 per mo., plus 9% tax
$ 750 per wk., plus 9% tax
Thanksgiving & Winter Holidays $1,000 per wk., plus 9% tax (min. stays applicable)
All rentals include air-conditioning, local telephone service, cable color television, weekly trash
removal & lawn maintenance. Monthly rentals also include the Citrus Hills Social Membership.
Charges for additional persons (up to two) are $10 per person per night as needed. Due to the
private septic system, maximum occupancy is limited to six (6) persons at any one time. Smoking
restricted to screened patio/lanai area or backyard. A small,(20 lb.),flea treated pet is possible
with prior approval and a non-refundable pet fee.
A $500 non-refundable deposit for each month reserved is required to confirm a reservation within
seven (7) days from initial booking. ($250 for weekly stays). A $15 service fee is charged
for all cancelled reservations that we are able to re-book. The signed rental agreement & full
rental payment is due no later than thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Sorry, no credit cards at
this time. No refunds on rental fee for late arrivals or early departures. If all conditions have
been met, the reservation/damage deposit shall be refunded within 30 days of departure. House Rules
& Deed Restrictions applicable. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Seasonal Rental Rate (3 months or more):
Available May-October $1,500 per mo., plus tax, electricity, telephone & tv cable.
Rental includes Citrus Hills Social Membership, weekly trash removal and lawn maintenance. Guest
shall be responsible for setting up utilities in their own name for the entire duration of the
rental period. Maximum Occupancy: Four (4) persons. $1,500 security/damage deposit.
Additional Fees:
Non-refundable Pet Fee $50.00/pp (required 30-days prior to arrival)
Refundable Photo ID Card Deposit $50.00/pp (required prior to use of facilities)
Weekly Housekeeping Services $60-90.00 (optional)
Additional Persons Charge $10.00 per person/per night (as needed)
