Parksville Cottage at Rathtrevor Beach Park in Parksville

This Oceanside Village Resort Cottage at Parksville is elegant, new,
and only a 10-minute walk through the woods of Rathtrevor Park to the
famous Rathtrevor Beach on the Georgia Strait. The cottage, unit
115, is located by the resort’s recreation building that contains a
sizable indoor pool, Jacuzzi and exercise area.

The non-smoking cottage is a 2-story structure (1100 sq. feet) with
3 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 8 persons. There is also a pull
out couch in the living room that would increase sleeping
accommodations to 10 persons. The master bedroom (queen-size bed)
upstairs includes a writing desk, television, full-length mirror and
private full bath. On the main floor are two bedrooms, fully
equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with gas fireplace, and
full bathroom. The main floor bedroom (queen size bed) has a full-
length mirror, full closet and armoire with television. The other
main floor bedroom has full closet, and two sets of quality bunk
beds, which sleeps 4. The dining table seats 6 persons. There is
seating for 2 more at the kitchen bar. A washer-dryer laundry
machine is located on the main floor. The living room has large,
double sliding glass doors that lead out to the deck.

Amenities include a gas fireplace, free wireless internet, phone with
free local service, three televisions with
cable, a DVD player, CD player, fully equipped kitchen with dishes and
utensils for ten, microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher and refrigerator.
Bed linens, kitchen and bath towels are provided, along with a washer
and dryer. A heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi and exercising area are 30
feet away. The resort has a monitored security system. Well-behaved
dogs are
allowed with additional cleaning deposit of $25 per day.

Walk to Rathtrevor Beach, the best sandy beach in western
Canada, renowned for its warm water.

Picnic and bird watch in adjacent Rathtrevor Park (over 150
species recorded)

Enjoy the famous Parksville Beach Festival and Sand Castle
Competition in August.

Tour Craig Heritage Park, where life of the early settlers
is depicted.

Snowboard or ski at Mt. Washington about 40 minutes drive,
the newest ski resort on Vancouver Island.

Sea Kayak with a number of local companies.

Chartered Fishing is readily available; Fish for Halibut,
Salmon, and Cod.

Children will enjoy the attractive Riptide Mini-Golf
amusement located adjacent to the resort.

Swim at the Nanaimo Aquatic Center, a great waterpark with
slides, hot tub, wave pool, steam room and sauna.

Explore the caves at Horne Lake Cave Provincial Park, only a
20 minute car trip away

Mountain bike or participate in a major Vancouver Island
mountain-bike competition, the Hammerfest. In addition to the
difficult race course, the Arrowsmith Mountain Bike Club has created
the Top Bridge Mountain Bike Park, where more moderate adventuring
awaits.

Enjoy the facilities of Tigh-Na-Mara, BC’s most renowned spa
and conference center located only 150 meters from the cottage
resort, with two award-winning restaurants.

The famous murals of Chemainus are only a 45-minute car trip
south of Parksville.

Tour the beautiful international city of Victoria, a 2-hour
drive south. Magnificent Butchart Gardens are also located here.

Explore the unique rugged western coast of Vancouver Island,
only a scenic day trip from Parksville.

Rates for 2006 (in Canadian Dollars):

Winter: (Jan 1 - Mar 17; Oct 10 - Dec 15): $750.00 per week
Spring/Fall: (Mar 18 - Jun 23; Sep 6 - Oct 9): $880.00 per week
Summer: (Jun 24 - Sep 5): $1,750.00 per week
Holiday: (Dec 16 – 31: $1,750.00 per week
$25 per day cleaning fee for dogs.

Secure your reservation with a $300 deposit.
Full payment plus a $250 damage deposit are required 45 days before
occupancy.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations 45 days in advance of booking will result in full refund
minus $25 charge.
Cancellations less than 45 days of booking will result in loss of all
payments made.
