Sunset Park on the west end right on Vaca Cut has a small beach area, lovely grounds and a great view of the sunset. The community is a great place for walking or biking throughout the residential streets.

Three restaurants, a deli and charter boat row are all within a short walk or drive from the unit. Marathon, which surrounds Key Colony, offers more shops and services including two grocery stores grocery stores, Publix and Winn Dixie, 2 drug stores, CVS and Walgreen’s, a KMART and many other shops, bait and tackle shops, gifts shops and a wide selection of restaurants all within a few miles drive.
More beaches? Sombrero Beach is about two miles away and Bahia Honda
State Park is about a 20 minute drive south. Key West is a great day trip and about 1.25 hours south.

Boat rental companies are available in Key Colony and Marathon, most of them will let you keep the boat at your dock for the week (some will even deliver and pick up the boat!).
