Jensen Beach, was once the world's largest producer of pineapples, (hence the logo and mantra of the
town).....meaning "WELCOME!"
The sweet treasures were then taken,after harvest, by railroad to their final destinations
throughout the world.

This village has protected it's historic treasures in architecture, reminders of the past, with all
their mystery, and they stand proud, a visual delight, all in pink, blue, yellow and green, (and a
million other colors in between!)

Spend the day at the beach, and the evening dining waterfront, overlooking hundreds of yachts, as
they sit prettily, reflecting the crimson of the setting sun.

The house is located minutes from the Famous Hutchinson Island and Bath Tub Beach. Walk to downtown
Jensen...it's where all the action is!! Start your morning at "Mary's", a local favorite for
breakfast, then head out to the beach for a day of sunbathing, volleyball, boating and looking for
treasure and shells on 30 miles of pristine beaches. Head to "Conchy Joe's" for lunch, a true
carribean watering hole for seafood and cold margaritas. Peruse the shops and galleries in the
afternoon, then head to the "Dolphin Bar", once owned by the famous actress of the 40's, Frances
Langford and her husband, the original owner of "Evinrude", one of the largest boat manufacturers in
the world. What an amazing place, the walls are covered with photos of old Hollywood, and the
history that makes Jensen Beach special. Walk home, and relax on the open air veranda , and let the
sound of the wind chimes lull you into nirvana. Freshen up and walk to downtown, where you will
experience the nightlife of Jensen Beach... appropriately titled "Jammin' in Jensen". Music, music,
music, and new friends await...talk to the locals, they love to tell their stories of the area. You
will never find friendlier people anywhere! Your choices for tasting the food prepared in paradise
are endless. From casual to fine dining, it is all here. Within a 2 minute walk from the house is a
fabulous produce stand. They travel the state to bring the finest to Jensen, all at a crazy cheap
price!! People come from all over to shop there.
Be sure to spend some quality time at the private beach directly across the street from the house.
Sitting on the Indian River is a unique experience. Catch the sun rise, as the sky turns a vivid
orange to prepare for the always beautiful day. The wildlife is exquisite, (we name our birds
here...and some of them know their names!) Heron of all kinds, pelicans and red crested cranes are
many, and sittingon the beach is the perfect place to watch the colorful sailboat regattas,
parasailing, and jet skiers!

Get involved, as the marinas are within walking distance and jet ski, boat and bike rentals are
available. Jensen in even know for a world famous sailing school.

Jensen is the perfect place to stay, especially if Orlando and Miami fit into your plans, as the
property sits directly between the two, and trips to either can be done with still enough time to
be "home" for dinner. This town is a true treasure. Enjoy your stay!!
