Tarpon Cove is located in the quiet, residentail subdivision called Toll Gate Shores, on mile marker 73.5, bayside, a block from the bike path and within walking distance from Anne's Beach. It is near some of the best seafood restaurants in Islamorada and only 1 1/2 hours by car from Key West or
Miami. Right across the highway, you will find Caloosa Cove Resort and Marina with a bait and tackle shop for all your fishing needs, a restaurant, a convenience store, and gas for your boat. Ocean access is two minutes by boat through Channel 2 and Channel 5 bridges. The bay is at the end
of a short canal.

The Village of Islamorada is not allowing weekly rentals unless the homeowner's purchase a $1,000/yr license from the Village, but they are not granting any licenses unless the homeowner can prove that they have been renting since 2001.  Homeowners who have been denied the opportunity to purchase a license can only rent for 29 days or more.  Several homeowners are involved in a law suit asking they be given an opportunity to purchase a license from the Village of Islamorada.  We hope it is granted. 

Until this suit is resolved, we are  not allowed to rent for periods under 29 days.
