Ideally located on St Simons Island at 411 Everett Street, "The Tides" Cottage is within convenient walking distance to: The King & Prince Resort and public beach access; Massengale Park ( approx 7 minutes) which includes a terrific playground and beautiful public beach; the Village (approx 14 minutes), with all of its charming shops and eateries, and the new resort-quality public pool and miniature golf course; and finally some of the Island's favorite restaurants (approx 3 minutes) including Crabdaddy's, The Crab Trap, and Saltwater Cowboy.
With 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, several social gathering areas and rooms, a full kitchen, and separate kitchenette, “The Tides” Cottage is spacious and roomy while preserving the unique ambiance of a private cottage experience.
The main floor features: the living room with plenty of comfortable seating and includes an HDTV and DVD player; a bright, airy, fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities of home; the dining room which accommodates a party of 8; a full bath, a separate laundry room, and two bedrooms each with queen-sized beds.
The upstairs level includes: two more bedrooms – one queen and the other with a pair of twin beds; a separate bonus area with sofa, TV, and DVD (our kids call this “the hang out room”); a full bath, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker and its own set of dishes! A secondary exterior staircase provides separate direct access to the upstairs level.
The layout and floor plan affords privacy and comfort for up to 2 families. Sleeps 8.
