Casa Estrellita is located on the most gorgeous stretch of beach in the Mayan Riviera, Tulum, a
Natural Reserve and fabulous eco-destination in Mexico?s Caribbean, heart of Quintana Roo?s "GOLDEN COASTLINE". One of the top Eco-destinations in the WORLD, this south section of Tulum is a Humankind Heritage Site by UNESCO designation.
Today... it is a preserved and protected area, from the rampant developement of all-inclusive hotels and massive high rises in Cancun and along the Mayan Riviera.
Tulum is known for its beaches which are as wide as football fields, and longer than the eye can see. The powdery white sands and turquoise waters will take your breath away. The beach is dotted
with ecological palapas and boutique hotels..charging anywhere from US 200 to 500 a night, for
the privilege of no electricity..and unspoiled nature at its glory. There are large lagoons, miles of mangrove forests, abundant widlife.. cenotes and Mayan ruins. Due to no LIGHT NOISE.. you can actually see quite a few constellations, when the stars come out at night.
Casa Estrellita is situated on 40 meters (135 feet) of private beach, on the south end of Tulum. The ocean is easily accessible, knee deep for quite a way in...perfect for kids and seniors alike.
Beaches in Tulum are clothing optional due to a strong European influence, so you can sunbathe and swim as u please. Venture into the property and you will see multi-colored birds, orchids, lizards & turtles that live in the area. To the south about 20 minutes is a stunning azure blue lagoon, teeming with hawks, manatees, fish and parrots. Exploring the lagoon you will find a river,(great for body surfing), and a small Mayan ruin, among gorgeous flowers, and coconut trees.
During turtle season, you can walk on the beach at night under the moonlight, and actually see
huge hawkbills and green turtles coming up to shore to dig their nests and lay their eggs. This
blessed event occurs annually, and the turtles return year after year to lay their eggs, exactly
where they were born. There are no lights, allowed on the beach, and turtles cannot be touched or
harassed.
Estrellita is conveniently located 15 minutes away from Tulum town, which has many restaurants,
internet cafes, bakery, fruit markets, Supermarket San Fransisco, and of course souvenir shopping!!!
If you are looking for exclusivity and privacy, in an unspoiled natural setting...close, yet far away from the crowds...ESTRELLITA is the beach house for you.
