My wife and I spent a week in the house just after Christmas along with both daughters' families (12 people total). A beauriful, well equipped and well kept property directly on the beach and convenient to everything you might need. A truly choice property and a pleasure to deal with the owners.

Awesome, breathtaking view..... Amazing ocean life, watched dolphins and sea lions swim, and sunsets that are worth the stay alone...... Plenty of room for everyone. Very convenient location...Oceanside is a great place to visit and staying here increased the value of this memorable vacation!

This house, its setting, and its owners are just wonderful, and they afforded us a delightful location for a special family event. Earlier this month (August 2010), my wife and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary with our sons and their families (total of six adults and five grandkids, ages 3 to 10) at Bob & Linda Enright's Oceanside beach house. The week was everything we had hoped it would be - and how often does that happen!!!??? The house was perfect -- very well constructed and maintained, with top-of-the-line appliances throughout. There was plenty of room, with comfortable beds and sufficient privacy for all. Bob and Linda both helped us on check-in day, ensuring that we had a DVD player (brand-new Blu-Ray) and wide-screen Led TV for viewing a special family production. The sandy beach - just outside the front door - is clean and beautiful, and everyone had a great time in the surf. When we weren't in the water, we were spending time walking on the beach or making sand castles. The house has a great patio - with a firepit - so there were cookouts and 'smores for all! If someone needed activities elsewhere, LegoLand is 15 minutes away, and San Diego is also an easy drive. Oceanside itself has a cute market and there are plenty of shops within a few minutes' drive time.

We stayed in this beautiful home for our annual beachtrip this year. It was by far the nicest home we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few very nice homes. This was the best! The rating system here doesn't even do it justice. The owners of this home are so welcoming and they have provided a home that not only allows you direct access to a great beach, but enough room to sleep quite a few people (our group was 12) in comfort and luxury yet still providing a living space that works well for a large group. We will definitely be back next year. And we recommend this rental highly! Thank you - Melissa

My family and I loved our stay right on the beach. Each morning we ate breakfast at teh kitchen table and watched the dolphins in the water. Private beach and fire pit area are great, but the real bonuses on this rental were the fixtures and interior finishes. We have been renting on the beach in Oceanside the past few summers and were comfortable with the "campy" places we had stayed...until we stayed here. All of the appliances were new (and working), the kitchen was beautiful and the bathrooms were like a 4 star hotel. We really felt like we had a premier hotel suite with a full kitchen right on the beach. The covered and enclosed garage made us feel safer than we ever have before. I could not recommend this rental highly enough. We will be back.

This being our 4th annual trip down to the Oceanside area, this is by far the best home that we've stayed. Such a elegant, yet comfortable home to share with your friends and family. Waking up to the sound of the waves breaking on shore, to walking down the beach and picking up treasures gallore, to relaxing by the fire for the traditional shmores delites, and then falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. Everything you can possibly need or want was available with this home. If there were 10 stars to give, we would. We are already looking forward to our 5th annual trip next year and this will definately be our rental of choice.

What a house! This is definately the "Best Place to Stay in Oceanside, CA". Inside you will find the most upscale, well appointed house in the area. Custom kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and designer fixtures throughout make you feel like you are in a 5 star rental unit. Every amenity you can think of is in this house. Spacious bedrooms with sliders that walkout directly onto the beach make you feel like you are living in a celebrity's house on a Malibu beach. If you are looking for a beach house, this house makes you and your family feel very special.

Three generations of our family recently celebrated Mother's Day at this fabulous property. It is the ideal property in the ideal location. The home is new, clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is a joy to work in. There is nothing "rental" about it! Just being there was very relaxing - the sound of the crashing waves, the beautiful sunsets; we didn't want to leave! And Bob and Linda were a delight to work with. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends. Thank you Bob and Linda!

Your place and your hospitality is above and beyond. We enjoyed the incredible views from the kitchen as well as the proximity to the beach. It was so relaxing for the whole family to be able to have the kids play on the beach while we relaxed and played games on the sandy backyard! We enjoyed the place so much we only left one day to head to Universal Studios, other than that, we couldn't bear to leave!

THE FOLLOWING EMAIL WAS JUST RECEIVED FROM OUR LATEST GUESTS (MARCH 2010): Bob and Linda –AWESOME! Thanks for sharing your amazing view, fantastic beach, wonderful accommodations, and perfectly located home during our Spring Break family vacation. It seems rare these days to be pleasantly surprised by much but you succeeded on a grand scale. Prior to our arrival we had the best intentions of using this central location as our hub while we explored San Diego and Orange County. After going to sleep while the Ocean crashed less than 50 feet from our beds, we awoke to Dolphins surfing the waves and promptly scaled back our plans of leaving this wonderful haven. Fresh coffee and the full breakfast menu from the Buccaneer (3 blocks away) only affirmed this decision. We did venture out to Sea World and Disney, at your recommended times, and battled limited traffic with time left over for a few scenic detours as we rushed back to enjoy the ocean sounds and perfect sunsets. We also enjoyed the Pier and several of the recommended restaurants, all within minutes and great directions. This was the first time that almost my entire family traveled to gather at a vacation spot but it quickly became known as the “1st Annual”. We are all quickly reviewing our schedules to get our spot reserved for 2011! We look forward to seeing you, and your home, again soon! WOW! What an amazing place! Everything was at our fingertips--from beach entertainment to household amenities. Spacious enough for 8 adults plus kids with privacy to boot! Can't beat the views or the location - we would love to come again! Bob and Linda were a pleasure to deal with.

What a wonderful experience we had in this beautiful home. It was our 2nd experience in renting at the beach and this home was far superior to the first home we rented in every aspect! Bob and Linda made us feel welcome and were available to answer any questions and help us with anything we needed during the wk.
