Vacation Rental Description

Beach Front units with direct views of the Gulf of Mexico. Three steps from your door your feet are  
in bright white  
sand and a couple of steps more you are in the water.  Rooms typically sleeps no more than 6- we are  
willing to  
possibly add adjoining rooms if you need it!

Vacation Rental Amenities

One bedroom (king or 2 full size beds with 10 foot sliding glass doors in the living room and a pull  
out sofa/bed.  
Kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes, a microwave oven, full size refrigerator, stove and coffee  
pot, just to  
name a few. Tile floors throughout and unit the was updated about 4 years ago. Full linens and  
towels are also  
provided. Small resort area considered "old Florida" but within walking distance to great waterfront  
restaurants.  
There are only 14 units in this complex so it is quaint but still has a pool, beach side gazebo and  
even a dock for  
your boat! Resort is Gulf to Bay so you have the Gulf in front of you and directly behind you is the  
Bay. Bring or  
rent a boat, we have a dock waiting for you.

Activities and Attractions

Casey Key Island is a narrow island just South of Siesta Key in Sarasota. Most of the Island is  
comprised of  
multi-million dollar homes (2.5million to 25 million)that are either on the Bay or on the Gulf. The  
island is very laid  
back and there are no high-rise condos, commercial businesses or chains. On the south side of the  
key is the  
Venice Jetty- known as a GREAT place to fish. Just over the bridge (about a quarter mile away from  
your room)  
there are several terrific resturants and you are just a short drive to Sarasota, The Cultural  
Capital of the  
South. In Sarasota you will find anything you can imagine. Super Boutique Shopping as well as great  
Malls,  
Theater, Museums, Oprea Houses and State Parks. Venice, Florida is just a couple of miles to the  
South where  
you can enjoy great restaurants, theater, shopping or golf. There are over 75 golf courses in the  
area of  
Sarasota/Venice. Casey key has easy access to Interstate 75 and it is a short drive to Tampa/St  
Pete/Clearwater, about 2 hours to Orlando theme Parks and 3 hours to South Beach, Miami. Casey Key  
is home  
to many famous people who searched for a speacial island that is secluded from the rush of everyday  
life but  
close to a cultural mecca.
