Comfortable 3 BR cottage in quiet setting with private lakefront on
Skaneateles Lake.
Located 4 mi down west side of lake -- 10 min drive to Skaneateles
Village

2 BR's with comfortable double beds plus 1 BR with bunk bed
Living Room with TV, DVD player; phone provided
1 enclosed porch with large sliding windows to enjoy lake view
or catch summer breeze; sliding door to shaded deck.
Grassy terrace area with gas grill provided.
Full kitchen; island with stools between kitchen and LR
Cedar-paneled bathroom with stall shower
Electric heat throughout
Large lawn leads to upper level deck with extensive lake
view, including Skaneateles Village. Large lower deck and dock at
lakeside are great for enjoying the sun; a
portion of lower deck is shaded for the Hot days.

Swimming - Swim off shale beach or our dock; Skaneateles Lake is the
main reservoir for Syracuse and the water is kept clean and clear!
Boating/Fishing - Lake is 18 miles long with picturesque shoreline. Boat rentals available nearby. Public dockage
is provided at the Village. You can also take rides/dinner cruise on
two lake boats.
Restaurants - Great food at many area restaurants dinners, including Rosalie's; Mirbeau; Sherwood Inn; The Krebs plus the 1820 House and the Glen Haven down the east side. (Eating at home is fun, too; be sure to pick up fresh corn and other vegetables at the local farmstands or the Farmers' Market!)
Golf - 3 good 18-hole golf courses within 10 miles; also miniature
golf 15 min away.
Music - The Skaneateles Music Festival features primarily chamber
music, with highly rated instrumental and vocal performers; it will
have its 31st year in August 2010
Theater - The Merry-Go-Round theater in Auburn (1/2 hr drive) has
live shows of Broadway quality!
Biking - Most area highways have extended shoulders for biking; a
40 mi trip around the lake has been enjoyed by many serious bikers.
Wineries - A new winery -- Anyela's -- is right across the road,
and the Finger Lakes region has many other wineries to visit and
enjoy tasting sessions.
BUT --- this is a great place to just plain swim, sit and RELAX!
