This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and spacious apartments I have ever seen in Paris, in a stately renovated Haussmannian building of the Napoleon III era (1850's to 1870's ), on the Quai des Celestins which is adjacent to the river Seine, just across the water from the Isle St Louis. Enter from the street through heavy wrought iron and glass doors, and take the marble and carpeted stairway (or elevator) to the second floor, where huge carved wooden doors open into a spacious, elegantly panelled entry foyer, then into the first of two salons (living rooms), filled with warm antiques, art and oriental rugs. The second, larger salon has a marble mantel, comfortable sofas and chairs, numerous cozy places to settle in for reading or conversation and a huge flat screen TV. And there's more - a comfortable, separate dining room decorated with a magnificent Louis XIII cabinet, a long corridor leading to two bedrooms, two baths, a large, renovated, eat-in kitchen, a water closet and laundry room. And location? Couldn't be more perfect. Just in front is the Sully-Moreland Metro Station (Line 7), so you can be in the Louvre in about 6 minutes, the Opera Garnier and Grands Magazins (department stores) in 10, or go by foot in about 30. And on Sundays, the highway along the Seine is closed to cars, and you can walk or bike along the river all the way from your apartment to the Alexander Bridge and Grand and Petit Palais, then on to the Eiffel Tower if your energy permits. We offer full concierge services from a nearby hotel that handles your housekeeping, meet-and-greet service. The concierge is available 24/7 should you need anything, including translations, reservations, use of internet, etc. as if you were staying at the hotel. For an additional fee, they can also arrange for private chaffeur pick up at the airport as well as breakfast at the hotel. This is truly a grand apartment, beautifully decorated and maintained, very large (about 150 square meters), and you will feel as if you are living among the Parisian aristocracy -because you are!
