Vacation Rental Description

Key Lime Treat is a three story stilt home located in the exclusive community of Port Antigua at 
Mile Marker 74.5 in Islamorada.  This is the first time it has been offered for rent.  The house 
is 
situated on a cul-de-sac lot with a deep water canal and has just been totally remodeled and 
outfitted with all new furnishings.  The 80’ dock with fresh water, electricity, a ladder, and a 
fish cleaning station, provides ample space to tie up your boat and clean your day's catch.  

Location is everything!  Boating and fishing enthusiasts will love this location with its 
easy access to the bay or the ocean through the nearby Channel 2 or Channel 5 bridges.  Beach 
lovers 
will truly enjoy the private neighborhood beach.  For visiting the other keys, this location is 
perfect - it’s about half way between the mainland and Key West.  

The interior of this home is sure to delight you.  The furnishings are more than pleasing to the 
eye, they are comfortable and inviting.  The main living area is located on the 2nd floor.  It 
offers a conversation area with a pull-out sleeper sofa and an electric fireplace, a TV viewing 
area, dining and an open kitchen – all with great views of the canal and the bay.  From the side 
by 
side refrigerator to the wine refrigerator to the wet bar, this kitchen offers counter space and 
amenities to please the most discerning chef.  You will love sitting on the balcony where you can 
relax in the shade or watch the sunsets for which the Keys are so famous.  Two of the 
bedrooms are also located on this level.  One offers a queen sized bed and the other two twin 
beds.  
Both bedrooms have their own TV.  The stunning master suite with its vaulted ceiling and electric 
fireplace is located on the 3rd floor.  It offers a private wrap-around balcony through double 
French doors where you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset.  The king sized bed, TV, desk and chair, 
recliner chair, spa style double sized shower, and walk-in closet combine to make this a 
magnificient master suite. 

Additional features include ground level storage room with fish freezer and clothes washer and 
dryer.  If you must stay in touch with the rest of the world, bring your computer, wireless 
internet 
and local phone service are provided.

A refundable Security Deposit of $1,500 is required for either weekly or monthly rentals.  There 
is 
a monthly cap on Electricity and Water for monthly rentals.  Owner pays first $200 on 
Electricity and $100 on water - guest pays any overage.  Payment of the Security Deposit 
is due immediately (within 5 business days of booking) in U.S. Dollars.  For last minute 
reservations wire transfer will be required.   Wire Instructions will be emailed to you. 
25% of Rent is required within 30 days of booking. 
Balance on account is due 60 days prior to check-in.   
Cancellations less than 60 days prior to occupancy will result in loss of all payments unless 
replacement booking.  If a replacement booking is obtained all payments will be refunded minus a 
$300 cancellation fee.  Security deposits will be returned after a damage-free inspection is 
completed – not longer than 30 days after vacating.
