Vacation Rental Description

Red Canoe is a lovely rustic but elegant lakefront home on pristine
Lake Glenville. It's tasteful decor with fabulous views of the lake
and mountains beyond make this home a memorable spot that guests
return to year after year.  The cottage is nestled right at the lake's
edge and provides an extremely gentle access to the dock with a lovely
grassy lawn for picnicking and a hammock for afternoon naps.

The private dock is on deep water; a canoe is provided for exploring
the lake.  The local marina is nearby for boat rental, do not miss the
opportunity to explore the lake and take in its many waterfalls.  The
elevation of Lake Glenville provides for wonderfully cool evenings to
sit by the fire while day time activities are the perfect temperature
for summer hiking and water activities.

The home has a great stone fireplace in the gathering room and a great
outdoor dining on covered porches.  The outside reading porch has
peaceful lake mountain and pastoral views.

Lake Glenville and the Cashiers Highlands area is known for its
natural beauty and cool mountain temperatures.  The lake has a local
marina for boat rental for skiing, tubing, kayaking, wake-boarding and
fishing.  The area provides outstanding hiking trails, countless
waterfalls, world class golf, whitewater rafting, mountain biking,
horseback riding and fly fishing.  The quaint town areas of both
Cashiers and Highlands are filled with great restaurants, shops, and
galleries.
