A dream beach house, just steps from the ocean and the bay in Davis
Park, Fire Island. This is a brand new (built 2007), upscale,
contemporary, four bedroom, architect-designed house with beautiful
floor to ceiling large windows, skylights, hardwood floors and vaulted
ceilings. It is private.
The house has an open living and dining area with a wood stove,
with a minimalist kitchen and butcher block kitchen island. It is
spacious and light filled. It is simply furnished and tastefully
appointed with mid century modern tableware. Outside there is a large
deck with a great weber bbq and an outdoor shower with a rain shower
showerhead.
There are four bedrooms. Two large bedrooms with queen beds and two
small bedrooms, one with a twin bed and one with a bunk bed. Organic
linens provided. Sleeps 7 comfortably.
Davis Park/Ocean Ridge is a small quiet community surrounded on both
sides by national seashore park. There is one store, one
bar/restaurant, and one snack shack (don't worry, it serves ice
cream). You can walk or take a water taxi to the Pines for more
civilization. You can have groceries and fresh fish delivered from the
mainland. It is perfect for a laid back vacation.
The house is a gem. We would prefer to share it with a few nice
families or groups over this and future summers. We would love to
share it with you.
