Great family vacation

The accomodations were more than we expected, the landscape was stunning and the ambience perfect. We were walking distance to the town of Todos Santos and the beach (25 minutes) or shorter if we took one of the 3 bikes provided. The "grocery" store was a five minute walk. The place was private with very little other residences around. You are somewhat isolated but don't have the feeling of isolation. The views of the landscape are open desert vistas. One of the owners who happened be around was very helpful with all our questions regarding any aspect of our vacation and the rental property. One of the big pluses of the property is a covered tiled patio above the garage where some of us did Yoga or read in the morning and where the gange usually met in the late afternoon for fun and drinks. You can even sleep in one of the two hammocks there if one was of the mind to do so. The kitchen, dining room and living room which were in a separate building were wonderfully spacious and a great gathering place. On Christmas Eve we were joined for dinner by other fellow surfers for a feast and with 12 people in attendance the space was not crowded. There's lots of room for meal preparation for a substantial number of people, lots of place to sit around an antique dining room table and plenty of room to play games or watch TV. The master bedroom which is located in a separate building had its own bathroom and was delightfully furnished with local furniture. The bed was great. If you didn't want to cook the fresh seafoof that was readily available, there were plenty of good restaurants in town. We rented the house as a family with and few friends. Ages ranged from 22 to 62 and everyone loved the place and its setting. The surfers were happy as the waves were only a short drive away. New Years eve on the beach was a great way to bring in the new year. All in all this place is highly recommended for family vacations. Rob
