10 Acre Retreat near Santa Fe River and Springs in High Springs

         This home is 1 1/2 mile from Santa Fe River located in a private park with plenty of wildlife to watch. We are 25 minutes N.W. of Gainesville,6 minutes from High Springs. The Master Bedroom has 2 beds, one large queen and also a twin, the other bedroom has two twins and there is also a roll-away bed for another person. Can accomadate up to 5 people. Small dog 20 pounds and under okay if kept on leash. No pitt bulls. $68 for up to 2 people per night and $10 for each additional person over that. There is a $50 cleaning fee if staying less than 3 nights. This is a very nice 2 bedroom 2 bath manufactured home beautifully maintained. Satelite TV, High Speed Wireless Internet, Dishes, Linens, towels and starter toilet papers and hand & laundry soaps, starter coffee, filters, creamers, sweetners are provided. Beds are already made with clean linens when you arrive so Mom doesn't have to exhaust herself. There is no room service but there is a washer and dryer in this home. There is an outdoor drying rack for Diver's Wet Suits.
As a former recreation director I have provided an activity manual with maps so
you will enjoy your stay and have a unique Florida experience. The home has central air and heat, satelite T.V. Beautiful landscaping, gorgeous grand daddy oaks, magnolia, humming birds, deer, gardens. A favorite among many.

         We are located only 3 miles N.W. of High Springs right off U.S. 27 and county road 138 near 11 major springs. If you like tubing down the Ichetucknee this is the place to stay, we are only 16-18 minutes away. We are a few minutes from High Springs which is an enchanting quaint
town with many antique and artist shops. After a day at the Springs,come back to our park and sit
out on the covered swing right outside your door away from all the crowds, throw a steak on the gas
grill or sit around a bonfire at night and listen to the hoot owls. Nearby we have a 50's style
diner, and other charming restaurants to fit any budget. (Bon fires permitted with precautions,
see amenities.) This is like camping out in luxury. Mom stays comfortable while the kids feel like
they are at camp. It is the best of two worlds. A place to bond with your family.

Satelite T.V. 135 channels,  High Speed Wireless internet for your lap top. VCR, DVD,  video library, every room has a gorgeous view. Central air and heat, hair dryer. The Kitchen has a standard size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker. To avoid fires we have provided a delux electric skillet and electric water boiling pots. there is a standard electric oven for baking with stove top. There is a gas grill for barbecueing right outside the door.
        We are in the woods, and surrounded by a privacy of woodland. The interior area is opened up and landscaped. A favorite of our guests is sitting around a bon fire and listening to our hoot owls. This rental in the woods is perfect for snow birds, divers(we provide an outdoor drying rack for wet suits),  well behaved children and family get togethers.

As a former recreation director I have prepared an age appropriate activities manual that has been prepared with maps to direct you to our area's high points of interest, such as tubing down the
Ichetucknee, canoeing, kayaking,diving or swimming in the springs. We are 17  minutes to Ginnie Springs, Blue Springs Park and Poe Springs. Most people go to the springs for the above mentioned activies and
then come back to our park for a barbecue here and have a bonfire in the evening. This is a private park and a sanctuary for wild life and is an beautiful place to take a walk in the country. There is no hunting, and bee guns, sling shots or harassing the wildlife is not permitted. We have many
deer, racoon, hummingbird, cardnials ect. We are down the road from River Rise Park which is connected to the Olena Sate Park. We are only 17 minutes from Ginny Springs or Poe Springs, 5
minutes from canoeing and many beautiful parks and Springs for diving and snorkling.
Only minutes from historic downtown High Springs with many antique shops and crafters. Winn Dixie is also minutes away. We are 25 minutes from Shands Hospital.

$68 per night special for just 2 people. $10 extra per person per night. No cleaning fee for stays of 3 nights or longer. There is a cleaning fee of $50 if staying only 2 nights.  Tax will be applied .No smoking inside of home, outside is fine. Small dog under 20 pounds considered, must ask. All renters must sign hold harmless.
