Vacation Rental Description

Fairytale Austrian Challet in a peaceful private setting in the center of the town of Mount Pocono,  
conveniently  
located in walking distance from all town amenities (grocery shops, pharmacy, medical offices). This  
antique  
house was built 60 years ago by an Austrian craftsman and woodworker out of the finest local and  
imported  
materials of the time (rich wood paneling, glass and stainless steel tiles, oil paintings on the  
walls potraying  
Austrian Alps, antique posters, tiffany glass panels, etc.). It contains a plethora of original  
magnificent details  
only seen at the finest European resorts, creating a unique atmosphere for special and memorable  
gatherings. 
The house is set on two-and-a half acres of professionaly landscaped property and includes an  
English Garden  
with benches for meditation, mature trees, and children's playground. 
The house is only a 10-minute drive (8 miles) from Camelback Mountain, the largest ski area of the  
Poconos,  
which becomes Camelbeach during the summer, offering plenty of sports activities for all  
generations. It is also  
3 miles from Mount Airy Resort and Casino,  6 miles from the largest shopping outlet of the area  
(Crossings),  
containing over 65 brand-name stores, 15 miles from Delaware Water Gap National Park (water-rafting,  
biking,  
hiking), 3 miles from Pocono Manor for snowmobiling, 2 miles from professional stables for horse- 
back riding,  
and just less than a mile from the Mount Pocono public golf course. 
The house is accessed through a half-circular driveway with parking places for up to five cars. 
The interior of the house contains the following: 
First Level: fully-equipped professional kitchen (two stoves, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice- 
maker, microwave,  
toaster, espresso and regular coffee maker, etc.), dining room with table for 8 persons, family  
room with the  
stone wood-burning fireplace and 20-foot ceilings along with grand piano,  computer room with a day- 
bed,  
glass-tile bathroom with the shower, enclosed stone-tiled porch for relaxing, two-car garage turned  
into the  
game room with a table for table tennis, and one for air-hockey. 
Upper Level: Two master suites, each with separate full bathrooms, dressing room and closets. These  
rooms  
are connected with a wrap-around terrace. 
Lower Level: Lower Familily Room/4th bedroom with wood-burning fireplace with pull-out sofabed,  
children  
playroom/exercise room and full bathroom with one-person jacuzzi tub.

Vacation Rental Amenities

There are two grills: a charcoal grill and a gas grill, along with new patio furniture for outside  
entertaining,  
plenty of kitchen tools, dishes and appliances, and new beds with matresses. All sheets, towels,  
toilet paper,  
paper towels, napkins and basic toiletries are provided. 
The house is completely equipped with select brand-name dishes, cable HD widescreen plasma TV, a  
seperate  
oversized projection TV for Playstation 2, several phones in every room, CD player, DVD player, VCR  
player, a  
collection of over 50 classic books, CD's, DVD's, children's movies and books. Each bedroom has TV  
set. There  
are two computers, each with a high-speed internet connection. In the children's playroom there is  
an inflatable  
jumping arena (for kids under 10 years of age) and table soccer.  There is a basketball hoop  
outside. There are  
a total of four bikes (two adult bikes and two children's bikes). For exercise there is a weight  
machine and  
punching bag with gloves.

The house is in the heart of all Poconos activities: skiing and snowtubing at Camelback (8 miles  
away),  
swimming at Camelbeach (8 miles away), Crossings Outlet Center (6 miles), Delaware Water Gap  
National Park  
(15 miles, with canoeing, kayaking, fishing), golfing (Mount Pocono public golf course),  
snowmobiling (at Pocono  
Manor), newly-opened Mount Airy Casino (3 miles away), antique shops, horse backriding, restaurants,  
nightlife,
