Vacation Rental Description

A community of 15 individually built houses on a point jutting into
the Pacific.  With a security wall and access only to residents and
their guests, there is privacy and the comfort of walking about amid
beautifully landscaped common areas and the wild wave swept point. 
There is a large swimming pool for all residents and guests.  It is a
5 minute walk to the beach, where one can walk 12 km. in solitude,
surf some of Mexicos finest or explore the estuary.

Casa Don Juan is on the highest knoll of Punta El Custodio and catches
all of the breezes.  While it is not on the edge, its elevation provides
sea views in all directions, seen through the lush tropical trees and
vines.  It is 2000 sq. feet,, with a large high-ceilinged, largely
open living/dining/kitchen area, a library and four bedrooms with full
bath, disposed about a courtyard of natural stone, with enormous trees
and beautiful gardens.  There is a small pool.  “Barefoot elegant” is
how our architect described it.

Excellent , helpful, friendly administration at your service with
needs, questions and problems.
Full housekeeping and laundry.
Our housekeeper will prepare a lovely breakfast and a dinner for
you(some eat the dinner in the afternoon, Mexican style.  We usually
eat it in the evening.
Dipping pool with sitting area.
Semiprivate sitting areas next to upstairs bedrooms.
Sundeck or star-gazing deck, whichever you prefer.
Comfortably furnished inside and out.
Satellite internet access.

Activities and Attractions

Point with 270 degree sea view for contemplating, observing the
pelicans, frigate birds, whales, dolphins, manta rays and much more.
Internationally regarded surfing; curved estuary delta catches waves
most of the time and for all kinds of surfing-long and short boards,
boogies, body and kayak.
Fishing off rocks or arrange very successful deep-sea fishing at very
reasonable prices.
Explore the estuary in kayaks.  2 by 2 miles of mangrove estuary,
teeming with birds and occasional crocodiles.
Explore San Blas-45 minutes away-colonial ruins and interesting
fishing port.
Explore and dine in Platanitos; delicious fish grilled”sarandeado”
over wood fire.
Walk turtle beach.  12 km. of solitude on a magnificent palm fringed
beach; share with herons and sandpipers.  Watch baby turtle release at
sunset.

Vacation Rental Rates

Low season; 1500/wk.  May 1 through October 31.
High season: 2500/wk.  November 1 through April 30.
Holiday rates; 3000/wk.  The two weeks which include Christmas and New
Year.

Except by special arrangement, all weeks run from Saturday afternoon
to Saturday morning.
