Solana or “Sunshine House” is a spacious beach home on St. George Island, approximately 80 miles
southeast of Tallahassee, Florida. Located on a secluded, palm and pine tree covered lot, in the
gated and secure St. George Plantation.
All Four bedrooms open to one of the double decks facing the gulf beach.
Kitchen, laundry and living areas have hardwood floors and are located on the upper level with the
master bedroom (king) with a Queen Sleeper sofa. Large open upper deck with great view and ample
room for dinning an entertainment. Lower level has three bedrooms (one king, one queen, two twins),
and two baths.
The large fenced deck around the private pool has ample space for sun bathing, swimming and
dinning. There is covered parking area for three cars on the pool level along with an enclosed
shower/changing area.
With a gentle walk down the sandy trail to the beach, it's just 2-minutes to a day of sun and water
activities. You are only 200 yards from the beach. Rent a bike and enjoy the miles of private
trails on the plantation.

Beautiful St. George Island is a natural barrier island located about 60 miles east of Panama
City. The white sand beaches are rarely crowded.
There are many activities including swimming, boating, water sports, world class fishing, bird and
wildlife viewing, and biking.
Paved paths run throughout the island plantation that offer a safe place for bicycling, skating,
running or just walking.
The Award winning is on the eastern end of the island and offers hiking, kayaking and sunbathing in
a pristine undisturbed beach setting.
The Island and nearby Apalachicola offer old town charm, excellent restaurants serving world famous
Apalachicola Oysters and fresh seafood, and plenty of shops to explore.
Great golfing is available at St. John's Bay Golf Course. The golf
course is only 35 minutes east of the island.
