Red Bear Cottage on Twin Lakes Waterfront in Coeur d'Alene

The Red Bear Cottage is Cute and Cozy with 2 bedrooms 1 bath and sits directly on the channel between the Upper and Lower Twin Lakes. 50' of your own beach which slopes gently to the water for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, boating or just relaxing. 8' x 20'new private dock. A wood deck stretches across the back of the cabin for BBQ'ing, sunning, sipping coffee with the morning sunrise or your favorite beverage in the evening moonlight. 2 picture windows in the livingroom will have you gazing out at the glistening water and small boats cruising by. The mountains and surrounding cabins add to the atmosphere of the breathtaking scenery. The property is completely fenced to the water so your well behaved pet is welcome to join you on your vacation. (pets upon approval). 2 open air porches, gas BBQ grill and 50's style patio furniture....all you need are the steaks!       Winter is also a beautiful season for vacationing.  Ski resorts are all approximately an hours drive in several directions. Snowmobile trails likewise. When the lake freezes people enjoy ice-skating, ice-fishing and snowmobiling on the lake.  Rates will remain the same in order to cover costs of heating the cabin. It is very warm and cozy in the winter and you can still bbq on the back porch!

* 1 Queen bed w/new mattress. 1 single bed. Couch or Rollaway bed for additional guests.
* Kitchen is fully stocked. Stovetop cooking, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, crock pot, all pots n pans, dishes, silver, every utensil imaginable including the corkscrew.
* Linens provided (but please bring your own beach towels).
* Gas BBQ grill, 50's style patio furniture.
* TV w/variety of. movies and board games provided in the cabinet.
* Your own 50' of beach, 8' x 20'new private dock.
* Firepit.
* Bring your pole (fishing license can be purchased locally)
* Sorry Folks, No Internet in this immediate area, so forget the work....just RELAX! (there is however an Internet Cafe/book store in Spirit Lake...next town up!
* No Smoking inside the cabin....butt bucket outside for that!

* Roll out of bed, grab a cup of coffee, sit on your waterfront deck, or grab the fishing pole!! Awsome sunrises and sunsets!
* Golf at Twin Lakes Village Golf Course. (just up the road)
* 25-30 mins. (south) to Historical Downtown Coeur d'Alene. Park your car and walk to every kind of shops, restaurants, antique malls, golf on the world famous course, hike on Tubbs Hill.
* 30-45 mins. the other way (north) and go to Sandpoint...the "Walking Town". Again, park and walk. Visit the favorite local "City Beach". Or snow skiing in the winter.
* Farragut State Park is only about 20 mins. east. It is the famous Naval Base w/museum, trails, hiking, historical information boards all along the way. Sits on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille.
* 6 miles north to Spirit Lake for groceries, laundromat, internet cafe/book store and fun "hidden" restaurants (check out the "Hideaway"), karaoke, old fashioned ice cream/video shop. (gotta try the Huckleberry ice cream and homemade fudge!) Ask how to rent videos for your stay.
* 6 miles south to Rathdrum for groceries, laundromat, restaurants,fitness center and much more.
* OR.... just stay at the cabin... fish, hike, RELAX! (great area for hiking and biking)
* There is a boat launch just steps away.
* Canoe can be rented for $50.00 pr stay (includes paddles & life vests).

** Winter wonderland. When the snow flies, the skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers, ice-skaters and ice-fishers grab their gear and follow their hearts desires!! The cabin is geographically central to just about everywhere.

$90.00 per night non-holidays. 3 Night min. 3 adult person limit (or 2 adults and 2 children are OK) $50.00 additional person pr stay.
6% Service fee (Idaho tax)
4 night minimun holidays @ $120.00 pr night
$400.00 Security Deposit. Refundable 21 days from departure.
$80.00 Cleaning fee.  $50 non-refundable (per) pet fee (pets on approval.)Incentive discounts for local residents, seniors and repeat guests!
Canoe is available for $50 per stay and a signed contract of liability and responsibility.
