Vacation Rental Description

"Sundance" is a beautiful custom home built in 2000. It is on 120' wide, deep sailboat canal in Cape  
Coral & is just 3 minutes to shopping & restaurants. The 2,195 sq ft house is spacious, light and  
airy with superb views over the water from the living areas and the patio/pool area. Disappearing  
over-corner sliding glass doors combine indoor & outdoor living by converting great room, dining  
room, kitchen and the entire pool area in one great open space. The rooms have high ceilings and the  
beautiful double glass entry doors are 8-ft. There is air conditioning & ceiling fans throughout.  
 
The patio is a 1,000 sq ft stamped deck area inside a covered lanai. It has a custom pool with  
heater & a remote control for pump, heater and lights. The pool is a showplace with a Jacuzzi-type  
spa, which overflows into the pool and there is an air-conditioned full bathroom with shower  
adjacent to the pool. A range of comfortable, quality patio furniture including table, chairs and  
loungers are provided. A "Summer Kitchen" was just added with counter, sink, refrigerator, &  
electric barbeque + burners on the deck area. An outdoor shower is also at the end for rinsing from  
coming in from the boat and dock area. 
 
OPTIONAL- The boat "Seadance" is a 2008 23ft Hurricane deck boat with a Yamaha 150HP 4-stroke  
outboard motor. The 4-stroke engine is quiet and it does not emit the nasty smelling smoke that 2- 
stroke owners suffer when operating at low speed. It is sufficiently powerful to easily exceed 30mph  
on the open water. It also has 2 fishing seats that mount on the front, bimini top, sink, portapotty  
toliet, fishing well, life jackets for 10 people and so much more!!! The boat sits on an  
electrically-operated lift on the wrap around boat dock just outside the home. There is also a Tiki  
Hut on the dock for those "umbrella drinks". 
 
The boat is fully equipped to Coastguard specifications and provides perfect days out on the water  
whether you like to fish, cruise, go shelling, to dinner or just want to go sight-seeing around Ft  
Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva and Pine Island. The route to the main river is a trip that takes just  
10 minutes.  There are several restaurants that you can boat to with all the information in the  
home.    
 
The Great Room has a built in entertainment center w/lighting and there are decorative niches and  
plant shelves throughout the home. There is a Big Screen TV in the Great Room and also in the Master  
Bedroom.  The other 3 bedrooms have flat screen tvs and all 5 tvs have dvd players. There is also a  
stereo audio system (radio and CD) in the Great Room. Internet access is by a wireless broadband  
connection. There is free long distance phone calls in the US & Canada. 
 
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with appliciances, pots & pans, plates, glassware,  
silverware & everything you need to make your vacation relaxing.  It is also great for entertaining  
with fondue pots & plates, cappuccino machine and more. 
 
The luxurious master suite has a king bed, big screen tv/dvd player, large walk in closet with built  
ins, & sliding glass doors to the patio/pool.  The master bathroom has a huge walk in shower  
w/etched glass, separate commode, 2 sinks & sit down area for doing makeup.  The tub is huge for  
soaking & always has candles. 
 
Guest bedrooms are spacious. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, closet with built ins, flatscreen  
tv/dvd player, cd player, desk & chair & adjoining bathroom with shower.  The 3rd bedroom has a  
double bed, closet with built ins, flat screen tv/dvd player, Play Station II + games, cd player &  
desk & chair.  The 4th bedroom has a leather couch which makes out into a queen bed, closet with  
built ins, flat screen tv/dvd player and a desk with a chair. 
 
Guest bathroom shared by the 3rd & 4th bedrooms. Washer & Dryer are in the Laundry Room.   
 
The 2-car garage has 8 ft electrically-operated door (remote control supplied) which means there's  
plenty of room for your cars in addition to the pool toys, kayaks, bicycles and fishing rods that  
you will find there.

Activities and Attractions

Cape Coral is a very pretty city located in sunny, southwest Florida on the banks of the  
Caloosahatchee River. Just a 20-minute drive from the SouthWest Florida International Airport, Cape  
Coral has hundreds of miles of gorgeous deep-blue canals flowing into the Caloosahatchee River and  
the Gulf of Mexico. It is one of the largest waterfront communities, as well as one of the fastest  
growing cities in the state of Florida. The popular shelling beaches of Captiva and Sanibel Islands  
are just minutes away, and several local and state parks offer fishing, boating, swimming and  
snorkeling. Hiking, biking, golf and tennis are also available in the Cape Coral area. The city of  
Cape Coral is home to a children’s science center, as well as a fun, family water park. Several  
special events are held here throughout the year, including the annual Festival of the Arts, usually  
held in January, plus an Oktoberfest in the fall. The beautiful beaches of Fort Myers are just  
minutes away, and the Florida Everglades is approximately an hour’s drive from Cape Coral. A unique  
aspect of the city is that it has one of the largest Burrowing Owl populations in the country.  
During nesting season you will see these little owls sitting on perches along the city streets. 
 
"Sundance" is a waterfront home with superb views on the canal, where silver fish leap out of the  
water most mornings. The house is within easy walking distance of shops & restaurants. It is a short  
drive from historic Fort Myers, where you can find the fascinating winter homes of Edison and Ford  
as well as great shopping. There are many readily-accessible golf courses nearby.  
 
Your rental can include OPTIONAL boat "Seadance" and we'll make sure you are able to use it safely  
as you explore the beaches, go shelling, fishing, manatee or dolphin watching, visit restaurants or  
just cruising around the canals. The nearby islands of Sanibel and Captiva or Ft Myers Beach make  
for superb sight-seeing trips in the boat. In addition to fishing tackle, you'll also find 2 kayaks  
+ 4 bicycles in the villa's ample 2-car garage.
