Vacation Rental Description

This is not a typical rental property.  This is a custom-built home on 
the most divine street in Corona del Mar.  It is three houses from the 
ocean, with gorgeous water views.  The owner is only renting this home 
as a summer rental during the high season.  We are looking for a 
mature couple, perhaps with family visiting during the period of their 
stay.  We are not looking for college students or three or four 
couples who want to party for a month.  Corona del Mar is not that 
kind of place. 
 
Sunsets are wonderful.  You can finish your dinner and walk with a 
glass of wine down to Inspiration Point and watch the ships come into 
the harbor.  Catalina Island is nestled on the horizon… 
 
Enjoy this 3-bedroom, 3-bath one-story ocean view home.  Granite in 
the kitchen; marble, limestone and slate in the baths.  Kitchen has 
professional appliances.  There are two queen-size beds and a twin 
trundle.  Lots of comfy sofas and blow-up beds, if necessary. Great 
room has large-screen television and surround-sound system; bedrooms 
are also equipped with TVs and DVD players; dining room accommodates 6 
– 8. This is an entertainer’s delight.  Enjoy large and comfortable 
indoor and outdoor living areas.  Jacuzzi and BBQ in the backyard.  
There’s even a Life Cycle to give you a cardio workout. 
 
During the summer, rentals become available in Newport Beach and 
Laguna Beach.  Geographically located between these two communities is 
the Crown of the Sea, Corona del Mar.  If you’ve ever rented in these 
communities, you know they allow short-term rentals, which encourage 
those who want to come in and continuously party for a weekend or a 
week.  For college students, that’s great, but if you want peace and 
quiet in a beach city with a relaxing Village atmosphere, you will 
love Corona del Mar. 
 
Our state beach is one of the nicest on the Coast.  China Cove and 
Little Corona Beach are adjacent beaches.  Ocean Boulevard fronts 
along the bluff-top for walking, bike riding, and running.  This is 
the most desirable part of town.   
 
The Village is within walking distance.  Balboa/Newport Peninsulas are 
nearby.  There are fun boutiques and amazing restaurants everywhere.  
Close-by are fabulous malls: Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza.  
Every store imaginable in Paris or Beverly Hills is represented here. 
 You can enjoy movie theaters as well as South Coast Repertory and the 
Orange County Performing Arts Center for never-ending entertainment. 
 
Enjoy the summer weather by kayaking, playing tennis and browsing 
galleries, biking, golfing, surfing and boating.  Disneyland and 
Knott’s Berry Farm are 30 minutes away.   
 
Fly into John Wayne Airport and be in paradise in 10 minutes.

Vacation Rental Rates

House is available from June 1 through September 15.  Weekly summer 
rentals are from Saturday to Saturday: $5500/week.  Monthly rental: 
$20,000.  Holiday weeks: $6500. 
 
Security and damage deposit: $2500/refundable.  10% City tax on all 
rentals less than 30 days.  Cleaning charge: $300.  Rental includes 
housekeeper weekly. 
 
Security and damage deposits are ½ of the rental cost and are 
refundable after check-out inspection. 
 
Fees and Deposits:  50% of rent to reserve this luxury beach home. 
                                Balance due two weeks prior to move-in.
