This lovely lakefront cottage is on the east side of Owasco Lake and
offers a panoramic view of the lake and fantastic sunsets. The
Cottage has been completely remodeled and has a covered deck
overlooking the water, a living room/dining room/kitchen area (all
one open room), 2 bedrooms, and a modern bathroom with shower. The
master bedroom has a queen bed and there is a trundle bed (two twins)
in the second bedroom.
This property is built into a hillside and has three levels: The
ground level consists of a boathouse, a paver brick patio, 90+ feet
of beachfront, and large dock. Above the boathouse, on the second
level, is the rental cottage. This cottage has a side entry door
leading up to the parking area, a front door which opens onto the
covered wraparound porch, and a third door off the kitchen leading
down to the beach. (The cottage seems somewhat like a houseboat due
to its location just above the water's edge.) Above the rental
cottage, on the third level, is a large deck and in back of this
deck, a second cottage which is summer home to a Florida "Snow Bird."
The two residences are completely separate and are not visible to
each other due to the design of the decks and roof lines. (The
cottages actually have more privacy than dwellings with close
neighbors on each side. The neighboring cottage on the south side
sits up on a hill by the roadway out of sight, and the cottage to the
north sits back from the lake and is only occupied on weekends.) The
area is surrounded by woods waiting to be explored and there is a
private roadway behind the cottages, perfect for taking daily walks,
or hiking to nearby Indian Cove which is home to ball fields, swing
sets, and large play area.
This cottage is an ideal location for couples who dream of spending
their summer months on the water but don't want the expense and
upkeep involved in owning a second home.

The cottage has been totally remodeled, is completely furnished, has
ceiling fans, satellite TV, and 90 ft. of level lake frontage. There
is a large dock which can accomodate boats up to 30 feet in length. A
paddle boat is provided for your pleasure.

Swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, ping pong, bonfires on the beach,
or just relaxing and enjoying the view!
Cascades Lakefront Restaurant is a short boat ride across the lake
and Emerson Park, located at the north end of the lake, has
activities all sunner long and is home to the popular Merry-Go-Round
Playhouse.
Visit the many State Parks in the area, take a wine tour, and enjoy
the beautiful sights and shops in the nearby village of Skaneateles.
